Funny how it feels like we just moved her into the dorm the day before recruitment and now she is in the midst of her last recruitment. Not sure where that time went.
I will reiterate my advice to all the PMN dads, this week can be a roller coaster. I still don't understand the process, nor do I think I need to! Encourage your daughters to be themselves and keep an open mind. Come Friday morning it somehow seems to all work out.
Most importantly, keep the corkscrew and ice and tonic handy to keep Mom hydrated. It worked for me!
War Eagle!
Oh Dad. Hard to believe your girl is a senior. Best wishes to her as she finishes up her undergrad and goes on to much happiness and success.

Thank you so much.
I can honestly say from the choice of school, to recruitment, to her friends she has surrounded herself with, to her major, she has made terrific choices. I see the pictures of her during this recruitment and she is having so much fun with the young ladies with whom she has shared the last four years.
Good luck to all the PMNs and their parents.

We had a chapter known for its use of Miss Clariol - we always said, if a rushee who pledged (sorority redacted) wasn't a blonde, she soon would be!

Heavy cuts on the Plains today. If you're an affected PNM who still has groups left, keep your eyes on the prize and tell yourself it only takes one! If you were released and you're still interested, sign up for COB right now (not in a few weeks)! And remember that some sororities are likely to do spring recruitment due to graduations and so forth.

Auburn

Potential new members may visit up to three chapters today by invitation. Preference parties are a highlight of the week.

Friday is Bid Day. Women will meet at ten o'clock to receive bids.

Bids go out in 5 minutes! One PNM said she heard that 400 dropped or were dropped. Auburn being like it is, I bet many more dropped that were dropped.

Here is the bid list - unfortunately they did it the same way as last year - no hometowns :-(

Counted and Gamma Phi Beta took 82 new members - I had heard yesterday that quota would be around 80.

Wow -- Auburn published this quickly! I do wish they would list by sorority and then hometown -- even using ctrl + f is a little tedious.

I did a quick "find" type search on that list and it said 104 for Kappa Alpha Theta.

Kappa Delta - 80

Kappa Kappa Gamma - 98

I'm too lazy to do all of them, I just did the "k" ones.
