I might have been thinking of "Take a little golden arrow" instead, which has those words in it. "Mary Margaret Truman" might even work under the right circumstances.

honeychile: maybe,"Goodbye Joe, me gotta go Pi Beta Phi-a.."

angelove: "Maary Margaret Truuuman was the dauuuuughter of the Prezzz.."

Yes, they both work as lullabies!

Greekchat--y'all are great! Thank you so much for your good wishes!

I bet it is! I think the tune is the "Missouri Waltz"?

A friend was in the Zeta House when Lynda Byrd was and all she ever said was that they all spent a lot of time trying to ditch the Secret Service, lol.

i will have to give you a call and compare tunes!

the texas zeta house was the only zeta house in the nation where men(secret service) were allowed to live during lynda's time there.

oh darn, that would have made a good "sorority trivia" question!

Congratulations, Tall Son. As usual, best wishes to the entire carnation nation, too.

Congratulations!

From the Carnation Nation's courtesy Yankee Alpha Gam aunt (who knew Carnation's mom and dad before she met Carnation).

You are too funny! I'd forgotten that! Well, Mom is still terrorizing Blue Bell Country with her sisters, lol.

Thanks to you, exlurker, and honeychile! He is wildly excited and has already been slated for an office; wouldn't it be cool if he got one?

Congrats bro and bro's Mom!

Welcome, Tall Son! I'm an old Sig Ep ('79)--when I was visiting colleges with my son last year, I found a friendly, decent, and genuinely helpful and brotherly response at every chapter. I'd forgotten how cool that is! Whether Balanced Man or "traditional" keep Sig Ep's values and respect for yourself and your brothers uppermost in your priorities. You can't go wrong with that. VDBL, bro!
