I still love the theme to "I Love Lucy," especially when it used to have the words sung along to it.

I don't know if any of you will remember this but there was a show on when I was a kid called The Courtship of Eddie's Father. It was about a single dad (widow) and his son. The theme song gets stuck in my head now and then, I don't know why it sticks after all these years:
People let me tell you 'bout my best friend,
He's a warm hearted person who'll love me till the end.
People let me tell you 'bout my best friend,
He's a one boy cuddly toy, my up, my down, my pride and joy.
People let me tell you 'bout him he's so much fun
Whether we're talkin' man to man or whether we're talking son to son.
Cause he's my best friend.
Yes he's my best friend.
(scat finish).

I'm late to the game, I think most of the ones I would have said have already been mentioned, though I don't think I saw "Happy Days" (Sunday, Monday, Happy Days...). There were also some classic "no words" theme songs to some great 80s shows I loved like Miami Vice, Hill Street Blues, LA Law. I loved TV in the 80s. I also loved Roseanne's opening music (good early 90s TV).

I liked it better when they used "Rock Around the Clock."

"The Wild, Wild West," "Hogan's Heroes" and "The Andy Griffith Show" were always favorites of mine. (And yes, the theme song for "The Andy Griffith Show" does have words: "Come and take down your fishin' pole, and meet me at the fishin' hole . . . .")
And NA, nothing gets my blood pumping like the theme song for "The Amazing Race."

Never. Our ability to laugh off little things like this will be just part of what makes us unbeatable.

The Hills.. even though it's just a Natasha Beddingfield song. it still rocks
also Charmed!!!
"I am the sun, I am the air..
I am human and I need to be loved
Just like everybody else does
See I've already waited too long
And all my hope is gone.."
and One tree Hill..i always loved that Gavin DeGraw song

I'd say the theme from Maude was ahead of its time.

Themes to "Phyllis" and "Rhoda", spin-offs from The Mary Tyler Moore Show.
"Maude" theme song was awesome.
