Ah well I'm considering buying a new exercise bike today! A local sports store has a pretty nice one on sale for 100ish, so my sister and I are thinking of splitting the cost

Not quite sure though, depends on if puppy needs to go to the Doc (he has an upset tummy today-he's going through this whole "trash eating" phase because I'm working now).

I lost another 2.75 pounds making my total weight loss 26.85 pounds. Less than 20 pounds to my goal.

Went back today. Lost a total of 21 pounds since the last time I had been there. (It had been a while.)

Bought the new dining our companion. It rocks.

Oh, anyone here go to Dotti's Weight Loss Zone? It is AWESOME. I have been using the site for a long time now.

I really want to get the new Complete Food Companion but our meeting doesn't have them yet.

I used to go to Dotti's Weight Loss Zone when I ate out but now that I'm on the core plan I hardly ever count points anymore.

Hey if you're still in Lex go to the Garden Springs Center Weight Watchers.... they have everything!!!!!!!!

Do you like the core plan? ie...is it as successful as points?

I went to a mtg and was real pumped and then I fell off the wagon again. I'm looking at doing the core plan....b/c I hate counting points.

My leader said she has ordered the new books but they just haven't come in yet. I'll wait to get my books from her since the meetings are so convienent at work. I'll have to get them when I get back from Morocco because I don't think she'll have them at our meeting this Monday & I leave Friday.

Oh, and I LOVE the core plan. I've lost a good bit of weight on it. The way I feel about it is that the Flex Plan taught me to eat less. The Core Plan has taught me to eat better. When you get back on the wagon try the points for the first week so it'll help you get an idea of the portions again. Then switch to Core. Eating until satisfied sounds easy but most people have a hard time understanding when they're satisfied. Now I alternate weeks of Core & Flex but even on my weeks of Flex I still eat Core foods. I'm not dieting, I'm trying to change my lifestyle, you know?

Hehe..I am VERY happy. I'm sort of doing a mix between SBD and WW(low fat, low cal, high fiber and high protein) and I weighed myself this morning and im down 7.6 pounds!!:-D
Although I had mexican for lunch, lol. but that's ok, i'll work it off!!! But seriously, I don't know why it's taken me so long to focus and just lose it. I mean, something just clicked and I'm just doing it, lol!

Bump.

I'm going to start the WW flex point program again. I have done it twice already and both times I have failed miserably.

This time I'm really going to try and stick to it.

I'm starting today. Right now!

P.S I'm never eating at McDonald's again!

Why not give the Core Plan a try? You might do better if you aren't counting points!

I just started Flex Pts. Online myself. Good luck!

Oh, and I found an easy way not to eat at McDonalds. It turns out that they use cow eyeballs to get their meat juicy. (New Sister in Law is a cattle rancher's daughter who sold them the eyeballs.) So everytime I'm tempted I just start thinking "EYEBALLS".

*LOL*

I think I'm going to try the points plan first then see how I do. I might switch it up later. I think I need to be a bit more restrictive with myself when I am starting up.

Plus, I'm not going to be going to the meetings (don't have the $$$ right now), but I have the books and stuff from last time I joined plus my mum is still with WW, so I can get her to pick me up anything I need.

Thats understandable. The Flex Plan helped me to eat less. The Core Plan helped me to eat healthier. Both are essential to weight loss!

As far as the McDonald's/eyeball's thing - that's an urban legend that can be found on Snopes. link to eyeball story
I quit eating most fast food because it kinda makes me sick anymore. I do love McDonald's ice cream cones and they are only three points, so I do indulge in those once in awhile.

As far as weight loss, I'm now down a total of 31.1 pounds. I'm pretty excited, I've got a little less than 15 pounds until I reach my goal.
