Still 30 minutes to go here. I ordered it from Amazon so just waiting for the mailman to drop it on the front step. My ex ordered a copy for my son, so looks like we will both be able to read it and not have to wait for each other. Not sure when either of us will actually get it. I checked the tracking on mine. Shows that it is only about 50 miles from here yesterday, so good chance I might actually see it tomorrow.

I just finished it.
Y'all, I don't even know where to start.
I need some sleep before talking about it.

I was definately at my local Barnes and Noble last night at 11:45. I finally got mine at 12:45 or so. I hada hard time putting it down last night. The beginning seems so different from the other books. I am about 4 chapters into it right now and am in complete turmoil so far!

We attempted to go to our Barnes and Noble after a movie last night; it was a complete cluster*uck and we turned around and walked right back out.
Drove down the road a bit to HyVee (24-hour grocery store), lo and behold they had boxes of them right by the cash register. No lines, no crazies and it was only $18.88.
Got through the first 5 chapters (and peeked in the back) before I fell asleep. This is going to be one interesting book.

I went to B&N last night. It was frickin crazy. I decided to popasquat right up front near the registers and at 11:13 (I looked at my clock on my phone) all the stupid teenagers around me decided that they must stand up and start shoving their way to the "front" of the line. Screw the people who are already there or the 10 year old kid who is sitting on the floor. I was so pissed. Because then everyone else has to stand up, we ended up standing for 45 minutes before they even started selling the books. Then the stupid teenagers, again, decided it would be fun to start a cluster*uck. This group in front of me decided to have all their friends join their group so more and more people shoved their way in. There was no room. Our personal space went to nill. The AC wasn't on (if it was it sucked). People were fanning themselves with whatever they had.
I will never do this again because of the stupid teenagers. I know I was that dumb as a teenager but being 8+ years older than them I wanted to kill them.
First thing I did was turn to page 606 to see if what we read (spoiler wise on this thread) is true or not.
Once I got home I started reading but I made it only to page 16 because I was so tired.

All the teenagers at Borders sucked too. Running around and screaming and scaring little kids. Brats.
This is one SAD book. I finished at 5:00am and couldn't sleep afterwards, that's how badly it affected me. There are going to be a lot of people who don't like it at all.

I'm still sniffling. *sniff sniff*
I am getting a weird vibe that tells me Harry might not survive in Book 7. Does anyone else have that feeling?

I just started a discussion thread for the book so people who have finished could talk about it and not have to worry about 'spoiling' for anyone.
If some reads that thread, well then they asked to be spoiled.
