the gas station in my town is 2.93 and I saw it in a nearby town for 2.84 tonight I'm happy to see it going down at least a little bit, it makes all the driving I do a lot easier to bear.

$3.19
Which is pretty good since I live in Washington State and we are always super expensive. Admitedly I bought the gas on Ft Lewis which is usually a lot cheaper than on the economy but I was still happy to see it that low. The local station to my house has gas at $3.39 which is also a lot cheaper than a few months ago.
Is it sad that my husband is happy because he can actually fill his tank again, it used to be that the debit card cut off at $100 and he would never quite fill it LOL

I paid 2.83 in Fort Worth yesterday afternoon at a Sam's Club and $2.97 at a San Antonio Sam's Club last night.
The lowest I've seen here in SA is $2.90 but check this out from the DFW area... a gas station (possibly two???) went down to $1.85.

$3.12 at WaWa, which has been consistently lower that other gas stations in the area. The highest I saw today was $3.43 in Falls Church, VA.

I have to point out that when this thread first started in 2000, they were griping about $1.40 a gallon!

In some stations here, it is as low as 3.19. But in my part of town, being a bit more affluent, it is around 3.32. Still I won't complain- once it got up to 3.95. And in Atlanta I paid 4.05 while where I live it must have been around 3.65.

And that was because of the Y2K scare. I don't think they've gone back to normal since then.

WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. - Sure, gas prices have come down lately. But to 34.9 cents a gallon? That's what Kelly Joosten and dozens of other motorists paid at a Citgo station Monday. The sign advertised $3.43 for a gallon of premium fuel, but the pump cost read $0.349 a gallon.

Our gas prices here have dropped to $2.89 as of yesterday. Still too high in my opinion but I'll certainly take that over $3-$4 per gallon any day
