I've been tired of them. IMO, Thomas Cruise Mapother (there I go with the government names again...) is likely geigh, geigh, geigh. He should compare notes with BGA and borrow his copy of How to Make Love to a Woman

Thumbs down Lil' STD foils Ashton

Ashton Kutcher and MTV were really upset when one of their "Punk'd" missions - with rapper Lil Jon - backfired. Apparently MTV and Ashton spent a lot of money and months planning a secret operation. Lil Jon was supposed to be on a private plane to Las Vegas, but customs agents claimed he and his entourage were boarding a plane bound for Ecuador. Lil Jon was onto them within minutes. He recognized some of the actors posing as security, told Ashton to come out from the back of the plane, and said, "Come on, you can't punk the motherf--ing King of Crunk!"

Me too! Black Voices Buzz said that Tom was going with another actress that is going to be in John Singleton's next movie. She left him to go with Tyresse (who is also in the movies) and all of a sudden...he's going with Katie!

And you know she was going marry that dude from American Pie.

Can ya'll say...REBOUND!!!

If they stay together forever...good. But I have a strong feeling this one is going to crash and burn.

I was listening to some radio show and they said that the reason that he has been acting all crazy is because he has been taking off of his A.D.D. medicine. Apparently him taking medication goes against his scientology thing, and so he stopped taking them. That whole relationship is just wierd. They don't make a good couple and they just look like they are putting on a front for the camera.

BV Buzz-recap of Fantastic Voyage

The "hardest-working man in radio" Tom Joyner and his morning show cohorts (J. Anthony Brown, Sybil Wilkes, Myra J., Miss Dupree and Tavis Smiley) sailed the seas from San Juan, Puerto Rico, from May 29 through June 5, visiting places such as St. Thomas, St. Maarten, St. Lucia and Barbados. Only Joyner could rent a ship as enormous as Royal Caribbean's Adventure of the Seas, pack it with more than 3,000 successful black people and book top-draw entertainers to perform nightly.

The performers on Joyner's Fantastic Voyage included: Maze featuring Frankie Beverly, Chaka Khan, The Gap Band, Keith Sweat, Regina Belle, Kem, Brian McKnight, After 7, Al B. Sure!, Eddie & Gerald Levert, Freddie Jackson, Morris Day & The Time and Troop. Comics D.L. Hughley, Mike Epps, Sommore, Bruce Bruce, Earthquake, Don "D.C." Curry and A.J. Jamal also performed.

Playwright-turned-movie-maker Tyler Perry presented a special musical review as Madea, which featured vocalists Cheryl Pepsii Riley, Terrell Carter, Melonie Daniels, Christian Keys and Chandra Young. Donna Richardson Joyner and her foundation, Girlfriends Coffee Talk, presented a fashion show hosted by Sheryl Lee Ralph and her fiance, Pennsylvania State Sen. Vincent Hughes, that premiered comedian J. Anthony Brown's signature clothing line. Elise Neal was on board to present a special screening of the acclaimed John Singleton-produced film 'Hustle & Flow,' in which Neal stars opposite Terrence Howard, Taraji P. Henson and Taryn Manning.

Among the other notables on the Fantastic Voyage were Minister Louis Farrakhan, comedienne Kym E. Whitley, actor Emmanuel Lewis, Judge Mablean Ephriam, gospel great Dr. Bobby Jones, rapper Doug E. Fresh, BET news anchor Jacque Reid, comic George Wallace, Jamal Munnerlyn ('Access Hollywood'), fitness guru Mocha Lee, BET exec Stephen Hill, Congresswoman Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick, rapper Slick Rick, Diane Amos (the Pine-Sol lady) and a slew of media professionals (Dyanna Williams, Lynn Norment, etc.)

The concerts, symposiums, fitness sessions, art exhibits, speed dating and all of the other events that took place on the amazing ship were all done to raise money for the Tom Joyner Foundation. And this cruise is no 'Love Boat,' but instead a weeklong party with a purpose that raises millions of dollars for historically black colleges and universities.

Additional highlights:

Judge Mablean Ephriam ('Divorce Court') has lost so much weight that many don't recognize her. The television judge was headed inside the Imperial Lounge on Joyner's Fantastic Voyage when a security guard grabbed her and told her she couldn't enter. Ephriam was entering with comedienne Sommore and her entourage, who had a reserved booth waiting. Security thought Ephriam was a general passenger sneaking in and attempted to physically restrain her. After serving the goon one hell of a tongue lashing, the judge left the scene and opted to go elsewhere...

Coco Brown & The Phat Cat Players were a major hit on the ship. The spoken word-music collective, fronted by Brown and his Barry White-esque voice, featured a bevy of singers including Gary "Lil' G" Jenkins of Silk, former Warner Bros. artist Terry Dexter and Millie Jackson's daughter Keisha...

George Wallace was afraid the Fantastic Voyage would sink like the Titanic. The funnyman, who headlines his own show at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas, carried his big orange life jacket around with him the entire time on the cruise...

The Gap Band's performance! That should say enough. More so, the amazing group invited a bevy of guests, including Kem, Regina Belle, Gary "Lil G" Jenkins, Frankie Beverly, Melonie Daniels and Doug E. Fresh, to join them on stage both nights...

Tavis Smiley's one-on-one interview with the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, exploring topics such as his health, the rumors of his involvement in the death of Malcolm X, and his love of the violin. Farrakhan also shared that he never really gets to take vacations and see concerts, but he felt so safe on the cruise and thoroughly enjoyed every show...

Kym E. Whitley was extremely popular on the ship, but one-fourth of the passengers called her everything but her own name. The most popular of the mistaken identities was former '227' star Jackee, while other cruisers called her Queen Latifah, Chaka Khan and Mo'Nique.

Ship quickies:

J. Anthony Brown dressing up as Tinkerbelle... Tom Joyner dressing as Major Anthony Nelson and his wife as Jeannie from 'I Dream of Jeannie'... Gerald Levert's impromptu duet with Chaka Khan on her single 'My Funny Valentine'... Kym E. Whitley smothering Emmanuel Lewis with her breasts... D.L. Hughley refusing to take photos with passengers... the outfits and matching purses radio personality Aruba Tommy wore on the ship.

No Laughing Matter

Missing this year from Tom Joyner's Fantastic Voyage cruise was comedian Rickey Smiley. The host of BET's 'Comic View' and creator of the oh-so-hilarious 'Prank Phone Calls' CDs, which have been highly circulated on the Internet, was apparently feuding with fellow comic Arnez J.

Sources say the riff with the comics began on the road during the Superstars of Comedy Tour and carried over to Atlanta, where the Birmingham, Ala.-based Smiley refused to perform at the Chastain Park Amphitheatre after accusing Arnez J. of stealing his material. "He does this intentionally to make whoever is behind him have a bad show," Smiley told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Smiley and Arnez J. were both part of the Superstars of Comedy Tour, along with Bruce Bruce, Earthquake and Don "D.C." Curry. The entire lineup, sans Smiley, performed two shows on day six of Joyner's cruise. Though Smiley helped book the tour lineup on the cruise, he says he opted not to participate because "it was an uncomfortable situation."

Since then Smiley, who recently replaced Steve Harvey and now hosts the morning show on 97.9 The Beat in Dallas, says he and Arnez J. have spoken and plan to squash everything. "I apologized for calling him a diva on the radio. He thought I was questioning his sexuality, and it wasn't about that. I was calling him a diva for thinking things are always about him," explained Smiley. "But we've talked, and it's cool."

This isn't the first time that Arnez J. has been accused of being a joke thief. BV Buzz recalls a stand-up performance by comedian Alex Thomas at the Ha Ha Caf‚ Comedy Club in North Hollywood, Calif. During his routine, Thomas shared: "I was sitting in the audience one night at a show and Arnez J. performed one of my jokes. The f***ed up thing about it was when I approached him about it, he said, 'If I knew you were here, I wouldn't have done it.' "

Arnez J. apparently had beef with another comedian named Steve Brown recently as well. The two physical comedians allegedly came to blows at CoCo's House of Comedy in Detroit after Arnez J. confronted Brown about comments he made about him on the radio. As one source put it, "It was a one-sided fight. There was one punch thrown, and it landed on the side of Arnez's face. The rest, as they say, was history."

A rep for Arnez J. could not be reached by press time.

Can't Say Names...

Can't Say Names
...Which R&B crooner opted to go underwear-less during his performance on the Fantastic Voyage? Said singer wore a European cut suit and every time he gyrated, the audience got more than they bargained for. While his flesh-peddling performance was a hit with the ladies, the absence of undergarments was revealed when he turned to leave the stage, and the audience saw the sweat that lined the crack of his butt.

Buzzworthy

...BV Buzz has learned exclusively that comedienne Sheryl Underwood has just been tapped to host the new season of BET's 'Comic View.' The proud member of Zeta Phi Beta beat out comedians such as Kevin Hart, DeRay Davis, Donnell Rawlings, Talent and Lavelle Crawford for the hosting gig. Underwood is considered by her peers to be one of the most underrated comics in the business and she's become extremely popular for her Republican shtick. The upcoming season of "Comic View" will tape during the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans.

...Vivica A. Fox, star of the Lifetime drama 'Missing,' says she'll never marry again. The actress, who was married to musician Christopher '6-9' Harvest for four and a half years, says the whole concept of being married is too cumbersome. "It was too much paperwork," said Fox. "Too much paperwork to get in it and too much to get out of it." The actress, who recently made the Top 10 of VH1's '50 Hottest Rock Star Girlfriends' for dating rapper 50 Cent, says she's now happily single.

... Chart-topper Omarion recently taped an appearance for 'BET Style' in Solstice at Time Warner Center in New York City. The former B2K member considers himself a sunglass connoisseur and showed viewers what's important when shopping for shades. After completing his segment, Omarion dropped nearly a $1,000 on Dior shades before leaving.

...'The Longest Yard' may have been Nelly's acting debut, but the St. Louis hip-hopper feels rappers are really actors in training. "We're already used to being in front of cameras," the Grammy-winning rapper told the New York Daily News. "As performers, we go into hostile environments sometimes, and it takes a little acting to get audiences riled up. And we have to remember the rap. I might go into the studio and write a whole song and not write down one thing. Remembering is basically what we do. So your head is already prepared to take in huge quantities of script." 'The Longest Yard,' which also stars Chris Rock, Adam Sandler, Burt Reynolds and Tracy Morgan, has already grossed more than $100 million at the box office.

I was watching television last night, and I was watching a preview for a new show coming on in the fall. It is called "The War at Home". It has Micheal Rappaport(sp) in it. His daughter has a black boyfriend and Lil Fizz is playing that part, well atleast on the commerical that they show I don't know if he is a regular or not. I just found that interesting because I hadn't seen him in a while.

I have it on good authority from a gay male friend that Tommy Boy puts the G in Gay.

Thumbs down I love Hermes...

But this is wrong. How the heck are you gonna clown Oprah Winfrey?

FRENCH MANNERS
DON'T expect Oprah Winfrey (above) to accessorize with Hermes bags any time soon. Spies in Paris report that, in a stunning display of ignorance, the Hermes store in the City of Light refused entry to the talk show queen. "Oprah didn't have her hair done," says a source. "When she tried the door, they refused her entry because they have been 'having a problem with North Africans' lately' and obviously had no clue who she was." A rep for Winfrey says: "Oprah is in Paris," but declined further comment. Hermes didn't return calls.

Either this keeps happening to Oprah or this is fabricated because a similar thing happened to her like 5 years ago at a Gucci or something or other store where she was looking tapped and wasn't let in...only thing was I don't think North Africans were the problem

Now that you think of it, I wouldn't doubt it was a hoax. Hell, Hermes sold a Birkin to Lil' Kim. Why wouldn't they welcome Oprah and her major caiche-fu?

Dag. Now I know that Oprah can look rough witout all the glam of make-up/hair s tylist/nice clothes, but dag....she don't look THAT bad that I wouldn't recognize her.

Once this gets out, Hermes can hang it up. Yall know women hang on Oprah's every word and whim so when this gets out, I'm sure they will feel it.
