Sadly, I gotta disagree, and I'm a big fan of his music. The new CD is over-produced. Foxx's voice has madd range (check out his vocals on any of several of his comedy CDs) but I didn't get that sense at all on most of these songs. Most of these tracks never took the opportunity to showcase his range/creativity (except a few songs at the end.) Foxx's first effort (Peep This, 94') was unherealded but had several ballad type songs that showed his vocal dexterity. (maybe it's that I like ballads more, and wish he had a few more on this project).

I'm disappointed to have to pan the CD like this, because I waited a long time for it to come out.

It seems like all of the songs sound alike.
