Kelly Rowland on Girlfriends
Kelly will appear on "Girlfriends" in three-episode story. Starting February 20th she will play Tammy Hamilton, an ambitious 21-year-old who convinces real estate queen Toni Childs (Jill Marie Jones) to take her on as an intern.

Another member of Destiny's Child will be featured on the UPN line up.
Singer tackles tough role
For her first appearance on a sitcom, Destiny’s Child singer Michelle Williams didn’t choose an easy role.
On UPN’s Half & Half, she will be balancing silly and serious in playing Naomi Dawson, a record executive who is HIV-positive. Williams will begin the three-episode arc at 9:30 tonight.

So no other man was available to play football player but Lynn's non trip hopping untalented brother? 
And this must NOT be NFL because NFL does not start its season in April!

Ok, I must be in the minority, but I loved the episode. I thought that the writing was better than what we've seen on Girlfriends in a long time, the characters have personality as well as potential, and overall the show had a good dynamic. It definitely kept me laughing and entertained. I hope that it makes it to its own series and keeps it up.
