Honestly, this thread involves about a thousand posters I really like, but outside of any context, it's so bizarre. I kind of feel lobotomized, but in a bad way.

Snark, snark, snark. You know what I'm talking about.
ETA: In all my 7 1/2 years on GreekChat I don't think there's ever been a thread dedicated to Syracuse Triad love. I've seen ones for the Monmouth Duo and Farmville Four, but never for our Triad.

It's because people that are not in the AWE-INSPIRING SQUARE OF POWER are intimidated by our hotness.

"The Syracuse Triad"
First of all, kchaptergphib, thank you so much for that lovely display of our Badges!
The following article was written by an Alpha Phi for the Alpha Gams and published in the Quarterly 10 years ago, I think.
The Syracuse Triad -- the original link isn't working anymore, but it's been web archived so that we can still enjoy this lovely article.
This is by far my favorite part:
Quote:
It is not known how much, if any, of her experience in Alpha Phi Helen Dodge drew upon when she founded Gamma Phi Beta. Or how much or how little Professor Coddy carried from Alpha Phi to Alpha Gamma Delta. Or what portion of Professor Coddy's and Chancellor Haven's experience in Phi Nu Theta might have been incorporated into all three women's groups. The monogram pins are practically indistinguishable until you get your nose in her bosom. We can see that. They are all the superimposed Greek letters, which, by the way, distinguishes most fraternities founded in the East from those founded in the West or South, which generally have emblem badges. But just to be sure, next time you see a Gamma Phi Beta or an Alpha Phi, give a wink. We may all be sisters under the badge.

I've always liked the fact that we have both our monogram and our symbol on our badge.
Is it just me, or are the Triad badges just about the most beautiful, period?

I know I'm late to the party, OTW, but thanks for posting this. I know I sometimes forget how very similar we all are to our half-sisters in Alpha Phi and Gamma Phi Beta.
