Hahahaha, that's the only way (as a joke) those teams above have a shot in making the playoffs. They should just take a year off and let the better teams duke it out.
1. Colorado - too much talent, Lacroix knows what's going on.
2. St. Louis - If they ever get a goaltender, they'll be a stanley cup favorite. But because they don't have one yet, they show up at number 2.
3. San Jose - They were in the top 3 last year until all their players got injured. Now their healthy and they young guns will have some more experience under their belt.
4. Detroit - when you buy all your stanley cups, ya gotta do well during the regular season.
5. Vancouver - Loads of upcoming superstars, team will only get better in upcoming years.
6. Dallas - This team is getting really old, with not that many prospects to keep it going. In a few years they'll be garbage unless Hicks throws a lot of money around.
7. L A - insert your comment here.
8. Edmonton - Not much too say here, poor edmonton; holding their breath until 2004.

ExGreek, I really doubt that Colorado is going to win the cup consecutively. NJ is always a good team on the East and maybe it's biast, but with Hasek and Robataille added to our great team, I think Detroit has a good shot at the cup. I don't know, there hasn't been a Canadian win in a while so maybe they'll suprise us.

Colorado has so much talent. A good mix of young and old. And St. Louis will always be a softie no matter how far they get.

Jagr has been is headed to the Washington Capitols in exchange for 3 prospectives.
Maple Leafs signed Karel Pilar.
Wings traded Aaron Ward to the Carolina 'Canes for a furture draft pick (Scotty was never a fan of his).

Anybody up for some hockey trivia? I'll start with a question....
"Who was the first American to be picked in the first round of the NHL draft and which team did he play for?"

Ummmmm is he Joe Mullen for the pittsburg penguins?
Alright next question - The Stanley Cup was cancelled only once in it's history - 1917-1918. What was the reason for this?

THis Montreal team was the basis for Anglo-Montrealers until their stadium burned down and the team folded. What were they called?

Hey everyone! I was out of town so I couldn't post the answer to my trivia question!
Who was the first American ever taken in the first round of the draft?
Mike Ramsey, drafted by the Buffalo Sabres in 1979

What minor league team gives players to the Grand Rapids griffins?
HINT, one step lower than the IHL/AHL
