Hang in there. You made a good choice by continuing with rush.

Hopefully this doesnt jinx you, but I went back and read your thread through again and It seems like Tara Reid kind of snuck in there under the radar. You've liked this house every round and when you attended lunch. I noticed that the Britney and Paris that you had questionable points about these two chapters.

I hope it all works out for the best!

So I'm on break and then I have one house to go! I guess I am pretty lucky because there were lots of crying girls around campus today. I knew from reading these stories that even though you feel like you really connected with a house or girls doesn't mean you'll be asked back, and I don't think that that even crossed some of the PNMs minds.

K-Fed-Liked this house a lot more today, their skit was amazing and now I'm beginning to think I may want to rank them #2 on Pref night should Tara Reid ask me back, when before I was thinking about suiciding. This house is still not my favorite but there are some great girls there, so I can see benefits of joining.

Tara Reid- LOVEEEEE <3 Their skit was hysterical and all the girls I talked to today I really clicked with (which has been the mark of doom in the past *dun dun dun*) but now I am just completely sold on this one.

I have Lindsay in a bit so I'll update again.

As others have said, remember that it really does only take one... I hope you're enjoying Lindsay and I can't wait to hear how it went!

Lindsay-I don't think it could have possibly been more awkward. The skit wasn't very good and it seemed to be sort of thrown together at the last moment, and I definately don't have the same sense of humor as these girls. The girl I talked to was nice, but I had to ask her most of the questions after we would just sit there in silence for a little bit. I want to like this house but I just can't.

So ranking was super easy, but if Tara Reid cuts me I'll don't know what I'll do. Getting cut from all of my favorites so far hurt because it really is like my personality is getting rejected, which is sort of foreign to me because I was really popular in high school. (I know that sounds awful but that is just where I am coming from.) And I know some amazing pretty girls with great grades who are getting cut left and right so I don't know what to think about anything anymore. Everyone cross your fingers for me!!!!

<Crosses fingers (and toes, for good measure)>

How many can you be invited to for the next round (Pref)? When is it?

Believe it or not, this is a common feeling amongst PNMs. Cuts during recruitment are sometimes the first feelings of rejection that some girls have EVER experienced. I heard that alot from girls I met via Panhellenic Council about their rush experience, so no, you're not the only one who has felt that way. Hang in there.

So Tara Reid cut me so there has been a lot of tears this morning. I'm still going to prefs but I highly doubt I'm going to put anything on my bid card. I don't want to join a sorority just to join a sorority, I want to join the right one for me and the choices I have left really aren't right for me.
