Iam very excited about the opportunity, I would also love to be in a leadership position, and this is a great chance for me to do that as an upperclassman. Once again thank you all for the kind words and encouragement, and I will be updating soon

I speak with ladies all of the time that were part of a sorority recolonization and they all say the same thing. "I couldn't be happier. We have a great group of girls who are very motivated." One additional thing...no stereotypes.

Best of luck to you!

I really wanted to colonize my campus, but we're closed for expansion until 2010.

Congrats!! A childhood friend of mine is a Theta.

Congratulations on being chosen for such an honor, ryleee! You should be very proud. I feel like being picked for a colony is more difficult since you have to impress national bigwigs not just average women your own age. Enjoy your part in the colonization of a new chapter. What memories you'll make!

Meeee!! We have already designated today "Theta Thursday" and we're wearing our bid day shirts I think that Panhellinic has a requirement that we wear them Wednesday but since we missed the boat so to speak we're gonna wear ours a day later. I think with us being such a motivated group of young women, this is really going to take off.... SO EXCITED!

Thank you all so much for all your support and kind words, it has really meant a lot through the process.... and I will be back hopefully with pictures for a little Sunday update

Wow, I'm so happy things turned out for you in the end! That is so exciting! There's such a higher level of enthusiasm and motivation when you're colonizing vs just joining and it definitely speaks highly of you that you were chosen as a founding member of that chapter since you had to meet with Nat'l! Good job, CONGRATS and good luck!!! Please post pics!!! And keep us all updated on the colonizing process - I'm curious to hear all about it!!!
