Okay, normally I don't comment on any of that drama, but I do have to say this: I have nothing against PrettyBoy. But his extremely long list of "red flags" for potential dates is...interesting. Some I can agree with, others I think fall under the category of being unreasonable. You can go read his responses in the "red flag" thread, if you have any interest in seeing for yourself.
Reminds me of a friend of ours. He can come up with a "red flag" to rule out any prospective date - I think he makes some of them up on the fly. He stopped dating one woman because she rinsed a knife out of the sink to cut an orange, instead of getting a new knife out of the knife block.
We wanted to hook him up with woman we know who stopped dating a man who ordered a salad at dinner. (Apparently men aren't supposed to order salads as a meal - even with meat on it - and its a dumpworthy faux pas. ) Thought it would be interesting to see who came up with the craziest excuse for ditching the other first. (Of course, both are in their late 30s and single...not necessarily "happily" single either.)

From what I understand both of the CG's were drooling over prettyboy.

Hey, unless you're chocolate and/or hot out of the oven, I don't drool.

What, a cyber-groupie who gets taunted every second of the day for her issues with denial? No thanks.

I had a friend like that. She found fault with every guy she went on a date with and it was usually goofy stuff. Turned out, she was trying to fight who she was and when she came out, it all made a lot more sense. She's had a female partner for several years now and is very happy.
Real Men don't eat quiche.. or salad, apparently!

Its interesting that you say that, because we've been wondering about him for a little while now. (And its not like people are pushing to set him up and "make" him go out with women...he asks them out on his own.) Doesn't matter to me either way, so I've never asked. But in the back of my mind I have wondered...

Didn't matter to us either way either, but it took her a long time to tell us. I think there are other reasons that someone could be that picky (fear of intimacy, really bad relationship with someone who did some of things, or, just darn picky), but your post just reminded me of that gal.

Just to note (lest anyone think I was being unfair), that's not the only reason that I wonder. But it certainly adds to it.
As I said though, it doesn't matter to me either way...just one of those things where if 5 years down the road he were to say "hey guys, I have something to tell you..." I wouldn't be surprised.

Ladies, it's nothing like that. Yes I have had bad relationships, and some of the things I listed were related to past relationships, but a lot of it is just what I don't like. We've all had a bad relationship here and there, and I don't think anyone would want to get involved with the same thing over again. At least I don't. I know some of the things may seem a little harsh but I know there's no way I could get serious with a woman who carries some of the red flags that I listed. I know she wouldn't be right. As a matter of fact I went on a date Tuesday evening and while we were in the movie she started checking her text mssgs while she was with me. O.K. here I am spending my time with this woman and she's checking txt mssges. How rude. She told me it was some guy who is interested in her, but she doesn't like him. I didn't care about that, it was just a date. It was the fact that she could have waited until she got home to do that crap. I won't talk about what she had on. She was wearing some of the things that were on my list. I went out with her to be nice, so I thought we could hang out as friends. But the fact that I saw all kinds of red flags, ended with her checking her txt mssges, then she wanted to sit and park. She called the next day, but I let the v-mail get it. See, this is why I'm so picky.

Hon, if you just wanted to be friends, why'd you call it a date?
