It wasn't a mistake. You asked for opinions and you got them. Your AI subplot is silly. What is the rest of the book about? Maybe you could beef up those parts.

Stick to that and leave the AI part out. Even if it is fiction, some readers like to feel that it could be them and how they would handle the situation. AI, in any form, much less self-recommendation, isn't a vaild option for most women.

I agree. Nothing personal Taualumna but I wouldnt buy it/read it. I wouldnt read it not because I think it isnt a good idea for a book, but I just dont see how it would make for an exciting plot.

I'm sure your experience was exciting to you, but for me, I dont really consider the AI stories here that appealing to read much less reading about one in a book. I dont mean to offend.
