Persistence is always good up to a certain point. After awhile, it can turn into crazy and/or not understanding what's really going on. Especially when the signs are right in front of your face. With her collecting items that are significant to the org and then showing them to people in the org and even other greeks says crazy to me. I know a certain chapter of an org used to have to receive a certain amount of a certain item as a gift before they were allowed to purchase any of that item themselves.
Hopefully she will not decide to perp being a Delta. I'm sure if she does, she will be questioned accordingly by a Delta in conversation. When certain things just don't sound right, there is nothing like a challenge. I personally crushed one girl's heart about lying concerning being in XYZ org. I also found the same concerning two male friends of mine. Why lie? To each his own. At least know the basics/history if you are going to lie. Just because you have your house draped in these colors doesn't tell me anything. Now those are persistent liars. Needless to say, we don't talk anymore due to various reasons.

It was pure sarcasm. She keeps trying to join even though she's obviously been put on notice that she's not fit for the journey. She's persistent in feigning sanity to a certain degree because she hasn't been medicated or institutionalized for the delusional episodes. So, long story short, she's persistent....and pitiful.
