Iowa has been overrated in all things this year.
How's the wrestling team?

not enough talent.

They got lucky going to the sweet 16 too I bet? Come on man, the team has a lot of talent and they'll be just fine this year. I'm hardly worried about a Butler or a Detroit. The only other team I'm worried about this time is Loyola.
Then again, conference play just started so we have a long season to go!

We (The U of Memphis) are currently ranked 7th. We going to beat Providence and then get through Ole Miss.
We kicked the Bearcats butts last week. We haven't won at their arena in years.

Iowa almost always is.
Iowa beat Iowa State in their first duel for wrestling. It's been a disappointing start to the season after recently losing to Minnesota as well. It's fairly young squad so hopefully once they get some experience they'll be better.

I really wish I got all the UConn games here in Boston. It's not fun having to keep track of them through ESPN and the UConn website.
Luckily I get to see the awful season that my alma mater is having this year. Glad they could handle the powerhouse Harvard basketball team for their first win.

Duke (#1) blew Texas (#2) away today!! 97 - 66. JJ Redick scored 41 points and had 9 three pointers. WOW!
And to think after the game against VA Tech, I was concerned that Texas was going to blow them away!

I'd say IU finally got lucky, but unfortunately, that just wasn't the case I was so looking forward to Mike Davis' annual meltdown during the Kentucky game, and instead I got a complete Kentucky meltdown.
It could have been worse though. This could have happened NEXT Saturday.

Actually, I take that back. I'm more worried about Butler than Loyola. Loyola hasn't played anyone and a lot of their fans are already talking about their "greatness to come" or something like that.

Houston (4-1) moved into the rankings at No. 25 a week after the Cougars beat then-No. 25 LSU 84-83 and then-No. 15 Arizona 69-65. Houston was ranked 25th in the Jan. 18, 1993, poll. The last time the Cougars were ranked for more than one week was the 1983-84 season, when they were in the top eight all season and climbed as high as No. 2.
"Being ranked is important for recruiting and credibility and later on when they pick teams in March, the committee tends to look at that as some sort of barometer," Houston coach Tom Penders said Monday. "It's a sleeping giant here. It's been down since Guy Lewis retired in 1986, but it's a tradition-rich school with five Final Fours and banners all over the place."

Tennessee MEN undefeated?????
Texas Pounded by Vols, Loses Another Lopsided Game
Tennessee Rides Long-Distance Shooting to Blowout of No. 6 Longhorns
By JIM VERTUNO, AP Sports
AUSTIN, Texas (Dec. 17) - A smattering of boos in the first half. Another key injury. Another big loss.
The Texas Longhorns, ranked No. 2 just a week ago with early season dreams of a potential Final Four, now find themselves befuddled after a second straight blowout loss.
While the first came on the road against top-ranked Duke, Saturday's 95-78 loss to undefeated but unranked Tennessee snapped a 33-game, nonconference home winning streak.
It was the kind of dominating victory Volunteers fans are more used to seeing from Pat Summitt's women's teams.
GO VOLS and LADY VOLS!!!
