A milk fortification program was implemented to combat rickets, and it nearly eliminated this disorder in the U.S.

skim, although I've also developed a lactose intolerance. I'm thinking of trying the powder or pills rather than buying the soy stuff (since there is little control if you're not eating at home anyway)

SKIM.

Whole milk is disgusting. I can settle for 2% but even that is really rich to me. I grew up on skim and I've never really been able to drink anything else. Basically, if you drink only one thing for a long time, no matter what it is, everything else is going to taste weird. The same goes for diet soda versus full-sugar -- I can't even drink the full-calorie versions anymore because I've gotten so used to the diet flavor.

You mean they don't actually squeeze the little tiny udders on the soybeans to get it?

Soy milk is not one of the choices on the poll. Plus I can't believe people drink that - especially guys.

Actually, you squeeze the teat on a cow (soybean), the udder is the "pouch" that holds the milk.

I'm down with "whole cheese" too. I have to limit my intake with both though.
