Yeah, I admit I wouldn't want my group to be thought of as "snooty," but... you have to admit... in order to be perceived as a "snooty" group -- there has to be some association with excellence. (The worst group on campus will never be referred to as snooty.)

An ode to Snooty Royalty

I hear that the snootiest
fraternities set up shop
at junior colleges. This
is the kind snoot in the
hierarchy of fraternities.
The queen snoot of
fraternities, however, is
the one where certain
members become awful
alumni and speak in
tongues while burning
crosses (a symbol from
their crests that also
serves to illustrate their
hate for "ethnic ones".

Rudy, I generally follow, but this time I don't. Are you talking about Klansmen or the Klan as a fraterntiy? I don't think any national fraternities are like that at all. I'm probably mis-reading what you're saying. Are you talking about a particular chapter?

I'm glad somebody here has her priorities straight!

PS - Peaches-n-Cream, um, he's sick. My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with a girl who saw Ferris pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

The Chi Omega house at University of Texas has a swimming pool! (I think that's better than a tanning bed ANY day!)

I think Pi Iota Gammas and Eta Omicron Gammas are the snootiest.

Well, at USC there's a pool within a block of the greek village at the gym (outdoor and indoor) so I think it's safe to say that our girls would probably rather a tanning bed. Though, ZTA has a sister that has a spray tan salon and she'll bring the stuff to them every once in a while, so I guess that's practically like having a tanning bed in the house.

And if you don't want to get rid of the library, you could always convert one of the bedrooms.

I used to go to U of L & have several friends that are/were initiated into sororities there & your attitude about the other sororities makes me very sad for you!

I'd love to have a house, let alone a swimmng pool or tanning room! (However, the tanning room would be wonderful, as the tanning beds in my area are kinda nasty.)

FSU's TriDelts were going to install a pool in the late 80s, but PanHel shot the idea down because it wouldn't be fair during rush week.

In the U of L Chi O's defense, that is what this post was about. Even though none of us stepped into the trap, it kind of was a loaded post.

Also, she's only posted 3 times... Wheras I have posted way too many foot-in-the-mouth posts to answer such a loaded post as this one, she just does not know about this board, yet.
