I had no idea. He is a true artist. At one point a tear came down his face during the show. He really feels his music. It's as if you feel what he feels when he plays.
Ladies, he has a since of humor, he was diverse (playing a little blues, reggae - prince style, etc.) and talented. And didn't he take us back like only he could.
He looks so young though. And his voice is just as clean and crisp. He sounded the same 20 years ago .
I was blessed with tickets for a graduation gift and ... I'm still on cloud nine.
The very old (I mean grandma and great ma were in the house), the young, gay, straight and all shades in between were in the house partying IT UP!!! That was shocking. Ch'al, I had me a glass of champagne, savored the strawberry in the end, and enjoyed myself. PRINCE IS TOO SEXY FOR WORDS!

I don't know the name of the song, but it says something like "I just can't stop writing songs about you, I Love you so much". I heard it on MusicChoice the other day and was grooving, I may have to go buy the CD.

Name your most favorite cut(s) from the CD (no more than two because we know the whole thing is good!)
I'm just surprised it hasn't melted or something as much as I have been playing it.

That's the chorus to "Call my name" on the new album.

I saw the Prince Musicology Tour last month--second best concert I've ever been to (maybe the best). I have to echo those who say they fell in love with him all over again. He was so beautiful, I got chills watching him (I do call him "Louis Cypher" because that man hasn't aged a day, and since all the folks who were around him are on dialysis and such, and he hasn't aged? Louis Cypher).
Loved the show. Loved the band. Loved the music. Loved the CD. What I loved most of all was how personable Prince was with the audience. Most folks teetering on the edge of crazy (y'all remember the BET interview some years back when he had the mask over his mouth and someone had to speak for him?) never come back to the land of the sane. Prince seems to have done that, and it was great to see him in action.
He'll back back here for 3 shows in September--I might be at one of them.

They used to have a website up and let me just say it was comedy. We can go for giggles but ummm it was kinda scary. How about I just bring the Alladin DVD, since it was filmed in Vegas and all, and watch him from the last tour.

Well I saw the show last night, and seeing as though I haven't seen him since the Purple Rain Tour, this show was well worht the wait. Y'all I am tired as hell, but anytime you have a perfomer on stage doing his thang for 2.5 hours, you know it's worth it. Prince as usually has everyone beat hands down on how to put on a fantabulous show....

Don't you now I was talking to Tina yesterday and she was at the same show I went to on Sunday. She said that she had never seen Prince the entire time she lived in MN, and that this was her first time seeing him. She thought the show was off the chain as well.
