it was close.. the Mavs were just feeling bad for the Spurs because I hear the SA fans took it pretty hard when they lost a couple of nights ago (did anyone read the SA paper? )
At least Ruben won tonight

Of course I wanted Kimberly to win, but with her out I was rooting for Clay. I still wanted to cry when Ruben won. I got so emotional seeing him and his family/friends so happy!! I turned it to the Country Music Awards and Kenny Chesney won Best Male Vocalist award and he started crying, so that made me cry. Then my Spurs win, so I'm crying yet again. Ahhhhh!!!!!! I was an emotional basket case for some reason!

I know!!! I didn't cry, but I was like "awww" and I probably would have if they showed more shots of his [Ruben's] family!!!
That's so cool Kenny CHesney won!!!

NO!!
you WILL NOT hijack this thread with american idol crap!!!!!!!!
Take it elsewhere.
Spurs take game 2. Almost blew another big lead, but honestly, you had to know that they weren't gonna win by more than 20. The Mavs are too good of a perimeter shooting team to NOT get hot and go on a run. IMO, the plan should be to build enough of a lead to still be ahead after their run.
Nice to see the fouls were a little more evenly called tonight, and that the Spurs FT shooting was much more respectable. We've got to make our FT's to ensure we win this series.
I think Malik really stepped it up tonight. My highlight for the night was when 6'7" Malik REJECTS 7'6" shawn bradley.
Spurs regain home court advantage, and it's now a 5 game series. Friday night should be interesting. Look for the Mavs to jump out early, and the Spurs to make a late charge.

KS 361 times i thought, damn, Avery Johnson just looks WRONG sittin on that Mav bench.

my boys keep scaring me, and I dotn like it, but the games have been great.
BTW, Tix at the SBC center are going for $125 for the crappy seats. I need a hookup at USAA, Tresoro, Diamond Shamrock, HEB, Taco Cabana, Southwest Airlines, HB Zachry or Holt Construction who are corporate sponsors of SBC Center and all have the Club level seating. My own concierge, AND waiter and free booze all game long. Plus they have ushers to keep all the riff-raf off of that level. THATS my speed. Got to expereince that at the Rodeo and a Rampage Hocky game, but I NEED to live large for the NBA playoffs and finals.

Actually, my boy, if ya wanna pass as a true fan, its techinally, "Go Spurs Go."
A marketing PR firm crafted that for them in 99 and its been their chat ever since. Every building in town has a banner withthat on their building. You also see it in yard signs, shoe polish on peoples windows everywhere and If I had a dollar for every "Go Spurs Go" shirt I say in town today - I'd be a rich man.
Love them spurs.

The Mavs had the Spurs Sweating when they cut SA's lead down to 8-points. But They didn't fold. San Antonio has to find a way to keep Dallas from Shooting the 3's.

I gotta go with spurs in 6. Spurs were best road team at the end of the regular season. Duncan is AVg. 36 points in this series so far. Spurs gave away game 1 and the mavs are still soft and there lack of defense is pathetic. Go Spurs Go!!!
