Well... In my psychology book, it says that anyone who graduated from high school in 2000 or later is officially considered a "Millenial"... but that hasn't really caught on? haha

I like John Mayer and have been listening to him since before YBIAW became popular- but I am not totally into him. And personally, I think he's kinda cute

And I'm pumped because i'm seeing him TWICE in concert this summer... in chicago (4th row CENTER seats ) and at Milwaukee's Summerfest! It's going to be great!

By the way - he is FABULOUS in concert for all those who haven't seen him!! He really interacts with the audience and gives you what you want! He's great!

I like John Mayer, and Howie Day, and Dave Matthews. See, here's the thing, I liked them all before they were super popular so I still like them... I know it's annoying when people think they discovered someone, or when people only like someone because they are of the moment... but it's also OBNOXIOUS when people decide to quit listening to/liking a musician just because they are popular and they are trying to be all hipper-than-thou nonconformists. Talent is talent... beauty is beauty and I appreciate beauty. And if it is exceptional enough that the rest of the country takes notice, so be it.

OH! That's what it means. Spent like ten minutes trying to figure it out! Now I feel dense.

Lucky! I wanna see him in concert so badly it makes me sick, but as far as I know there aren't nearby tour dates coming up.

One of my good friends, named Rob, has seen him in concert several times. I actually have a funny story about him. First of all, all of his friend tease him about his overlarge ego, so I think it makes this story funnier. He went to see the several concerts in quick succession and was lucky enough to speak to John at each of them. By the third or fourth one, he says to John "I bet you're sick of seeing me, aren't you?"

John gets a puzzled look on his face and says "I don't know you for shit!"

sherbertlemons, that doesn't surprise me at all about what John said to your friend. I konw someone who opened for him awhile back and he said he was super-cocky.
