Almost every guy I've kissed loves it when I run my fingers through his hair. I dated a guy that would just melt everytime I did that whether we were kissing or not! Is this a universal thing?

Some helpful information: The lips are the most sensitive parts of our body. A little surprising, but true!

Something else I can't stand: kissing smokers. I don't care how long it's been since your last cig, how many breath mints you've had, or how drunk I am. You still taste like tar and tobacco and it's nasty.

start slowly when it comes to kissing and never get over aggressive because at times that may seem annoying. I'm with James on this one a bit. Take your time before you begin to touch down there. Kiss him and make sure your both feeling a little blissful before you start rubbing that area. Rubbing the lower back with your nails and the back of the head seem to do the trick. Inside of the thigh seems to be a great spot as well, right before you go towards (u know what). Also I don't mind a little nibbling as well, I find it erotic and I love it when a girl takes control from time to time.

How DO you guys tell people when they are bad kissers? I just stop and say, "um, let's do something else," if it is our first time. If it is after the first time, and I have tried to coach them through Kissing 101, and it STILL hasn't improved, they gotta go.

Do I tell them they're bad kissers? The answer is yes and no.

Being the very goal-oriented guy that I am, I know exactly what I want before I throw myself into that situation. So if I have this freshman girl in my room and she's a horrible kisser, I will probably keep going and hoping it leads to more.

If it takes a while with Ms. Bad Kisser, I'm feeling dehydrated, and it's going nowhere (in other words, she smacks my hand), I will tell her I'm tired and she should go and not tell anyone about it (I phrase it much better than that, I promise). So I don't explicitly tell her, but she should reflect on the night and make sure she doesn't treat the next guy's face like a blueberry pie in a pie eating contest.

And I truly find most guys who have "techniques" for kissing to be full of crap. The only technique that I have is to pay attention to the girl and do what she likes and to use my head and not overdo it. Why do you need a general guide to tell you how every single girl will respond?? If a girl enjoys you kissing the nape of her neck and you spend the entire time kissing her collar bone and ear, then you've missed out on what makes her happy and what will eventually get you rewarded.

And for the boys who talk about going down on girls so readily, I just have to say that's all BS. I'm sorry but no matter what anybody does, oral is not an enjoyable act (although waxing and whipped cream help). The girl is not going to make her secretions taste like your favorite flavor at Baskin Robins (I recommend pistachio). So what does that mean to you?? That a guy you hardly know just offers up the fact that he would go down on a girl so quickly? To me it sounds a little fake and desperate.

Optimist Prime, I don't mean to knock you but you can't tell me you will stop kissing the girl if you're not enjoying it, to then go down on her. You can talk all you want about how you enjoy that and how you're different from every other guy (you'd probably say you more mature...more sensitive...that you want the girl to be happy), but that's just crap.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the guys who like to slobber all in my ear. A few guys have found my earrings in their mouths. You'd think they'd learn, but one guy took out my earrings 4 times in 1 night.

Sometimes I like to kiss/suck their lower lip, and the guy will do the same to my upper lip-- I do it playfully/softly-- don't do it too hard. Last week a guy was doing it so hard I came home with my lips black and blue.
