I didn't actually date much in college, but when I left school I started dating a DTD. We were together for nearly four years. Lavaliered, etc. We've been apart for nearly two years, and I still wear it every day. When I asked him about it, he said there was no reason not to wear it. (Long story). Anyhow, we're still best friends, and might actually get back together one day (when he grows up!!).

A side note.. I didn't get lavaliered until we'd been out of school for two years. He was an asst. chapter advisor, and I was an inactive alumna. Ironic, huh?
Anyhow, the point of it.. There is just something about being Greek. Even if you're not active, or alumnae, it will always be a part of you. Unless someone is Greek, they just can't even understand what it means to you. I think it makes more sense once someone is out of school and away from the day-to-day obligations and hassles. School is so hectic & busy, it is amazing to have someone who understands & even feels the same way. Even if I find the someone else to date, I hope he is Greek.
