Yippee! I cant wait to hear both of your rush stories. It is such an exciting time for you two wonderful ladies. I get to live through you since our recruitment isnt till JANUARY  . Best of luck in finding the right group, any sorority would be lucky to have you ladies as sisters

All those girls at Fox's Pizza? Its not even close to that big.
I wonder if they are going to bus the girls there. Its not within walking distance of campus.

I can hardly wait until Friday! Just think, Blazercheer and Ballerina, this time next week, you'll be Greek! This thread may be 50 pages long by then! You girls have an awesome mother, and I'm so proud to be able to call her my sister. Carnation, we anxiously await updates. There can't be two girls going through VSU rush with more good wishes than your daughters.

I'm sure that Carnation's daughters are wonderful in their own right, but please be considerate of other Valdosta PNMs. If a VSU sorority member made this statement, the chapter may be charged with a Rush infraction.
No Potential New Member is guaranteed a bid until it is placed in her hands ((unless assuming the sorority's legacy rule demands that every legacy receives a bid)).

I'm sure they know that no girl is guaranteed a bid. Their mother has schooled them well in the process. They are going into rush with open minds and do not have their hearts set on any one chapter. They are exceptional girls. I would be amazed if they did not get bids. Now stop raining on the rush parade. This thread is not for other VSU PMNs. Actually, I hope every rushee at VSU gets a bid. But this particular thread is to wish good luck to and to follow Carnation's daughters through rush.

Hey y'all,
They left a few minutes ago for Valdosta--it's a little past 6 AM now. After moving into the dorm this afternoon, they'll have a PNM meeting tonight and then no doubt a meeting with their rush counselors. Parties start tomorrow morning!
I have threatened them with bodily injury if they don't connect with me every day! And if they do like their oldest sister did on Bid Day--racing off joyfully with their new sisters and forgetting to call home about what they pledged--  . Words fail me as to what I'd do!

Carnation...my advise to you...take deep breaths, but not too often!!
I will be following your lead and going to Valdosta tomorrow right after I get off work(7am )
I dont think I will make the first party but it will be fun anyway!
