So sad that I read this for my kicks. (And seriously, this stuff can get SO funny.)

Wow do I need a job.

I hate it when......

~People who are supposed to be Greek come up and ask what your letters say.

~When people talk loud about stuff they know nothing about.

~That one annoying guy on the plane who complains the entire trip saying this is wrong...I fly all the time...Obviously if he flew all the time, he would be accustomed to it.

~People are rude to service people like police, firefighters, military, etc...Ok they put their lives on the line everyday for you.

~Parents who want to come up to the "school house" and curse the teacher out when they know their child hasn't been doing what they are supposed to.

~When off-campus people think they can just drop by whenever since you live on-campus.

~Parents who teach their children prejudice, superiority.

~Professors who think they are right all the time.

~When the financial aid office yells out social security numbers and personal info.

~People who spread hurtful rumors... That is sooo childish.

~People who let their cell phone ring in church or even worse, at a funeral.

ugh! perfect time for this post!

* When stoopy boys act like they are your best friend and then accuse you of being in love with them like every week!!!!!!!!!

* When girls you hate just cant seem to disappear from your life!

* When you check your email and get your sororities schedule and your work schedule on the same day! I have no time this fall!

* When old men in bmw's flip you off because you were forced to cut them off due to construction!

* When you spend an entire months pay in 2 weeks! (How did that happen?)

Oh, I am so with you on Greeks not knowing Greek letters. I guess it's one thing if they don't recognize our Xi, because it's uncommon (although they still SHOULD), but I've had folks ask what the Delta is. Heck, I learned that in high school chem, for pete's sake, just like I learned about Pi in math. What rock have these folks been under?

Ugh... just realized this on Greek Life.

Peekaboo thread titles. This isn't a newspaper, magazine, or whatever you have to do to make someone read your article. If you're posting something, put in the thread what it is, so GCers don't have to wasted their time reading a thread that is so unamusing to them. I just read like 5 threads that I thought, well hey let's see what's that about. Something that I could care less. Please, save ur fellow GCers the time and effort... give us a hint on what ur thread is about!

I can't stand.....

*When people ask stupid questions about Hawaii (believe me, it happens ALL the time) ex: So you guys go to school there? UH DUH...Do you drive cars? No, we take our canoes everywhere

*When tourists drive super slow on the highways and tie up traffic looking at the view or taking pictures. I know they aren't freeways but you dont have to go 15mph...this is especially bad during whale watching season when they have their eyes glued to the ocean.

*When people refer to the mainland US as "the states!" Hello, Hawaii IS a state. Grrr

*When people don't use their blinker and then cut you off at the last second...use them, that's what they are there for!

*When people don't say "please" or "thank you"....especially when people don't say "thank you" when someone does something nice for them. It's just basic manners.

*When people complain about how much they don't like something yet they do nothing to try and change it or they don't bother to get involved in the first place

*When my internet/computer/printer decides not to work the night before a big assignment is due!

*When guys leer at you/make comments from across the street/room/etc and except you to come running over and swoon

*When people are close-minded and refuse to acknowledge other cultures, ideas, beliefs, etc.

*Racism/sexism/homophobia

No...sorry. I dance hula but we don't wear grass skirts. I only did once when I was like 8 and had one of those touristy hula outfits with the grass skirt and the fake coconut bra.

Ohh I thought of one more thing I REALLY can't stand:

*When the fire alarms go off in the dorms 10 times a night during finals week or the dead of winter!!

actually it happened the day i posted... at least something similar to what i posted. Lady walked in with no proof she bought something, my manager declined, and she raised hell. So my manager reported it to loss provention. Didn't mean to offend anyone. I was just still reeling from it. *shows peace sign*

Here's things I CAN'T STAND!!!!

1)People that smack or talk with food in their mouth!!

2)People that KNOW I am terrified of dogs, and yet let their dogs jump all over me saying, "awww, she won't hurt you!" while I'm about to have a heart attack!

3)I'm pretty warm-natured and I wear shortsleeve shirts all through winter(with a coat of course). So I hate it if people see me wearing a t-shirt instead of a sweater and ask me, "aren't you COLD??!" No, Einstein, if I was COLD I'd be wearing something warmer!!

4)When I'm just about finished with some sort of project I'm sewing, and my sewing machine needle breaks. This happened to me last night...grrr.

5)When you're already running late and you realized you left your books/purse/etc in your room and have to go get it.

6)When people point out something like, "your legs are really white!", "you have a zit on your chin!", "you have a big scratch on your arm!", as if I didn't know that!

7)people that don't use turn signals

8)I'm from Arkansas and I HATE it when people ask me things like, "Do people go barefoot everywhere?", "Does your family marry each other?", "do you use an outhouse?", etc etc. My favorite was when someone said, "I didn't know Arkansas had real colleges!" Um, yeah, we do.

I hate when people at work (i.e. the stupid bar customers and that dishwasher that speaks zero English) tell me to smile (I work in a restaurant) when I'm running from tables to the kitchen to the bar and back with 15 things on my mind, I'm not concerned about smiling. BUT, if I am smiling, they all say, "oh, ha ha, what's so funny?" WTF?!?!

I hate when people leave their turn signals on for 20 minutes on the highway. How do you not remember to turn it off??

I hate customres who think that I'm just a stupid server and therefore need everything explained to me in the simplest of terms, and they feel the need to double and triple check. "Are there onions in that?? Are you sure?? Because I can't eat onions." When the food goes out, " Now, this is no onions, right?? I can't have onions." I mean, this is only my job. why would I know these things??

I hate when people call and the machine picks up, so they hang up and call right back. Do they think someone is going to magically answer this time??

When people you work with do stuff to get you in trouble! My boss had to cancel a very important conference call this morning because somebody neglected to give me the materials to review!
