I found it "interesting" the claim on that site of them being the 1st to establish alumni membership/chapters.
Our 1st Alumni chapter was established in 1911...
I wonder how they founded this alumni chapter before founding their Frat!

But it's all good...we all have Urban Legends we were taught that are rediculously untrue

Yes...Soror Enroad's comments were inappropriate and I'll be the first one to say that. I don't feel as though anyone should put down other organizations. Even in fun...the comments are not as 'piercing' as her's were on this board.

However, I would like all Greeks to keep in mind that this is just the views of that particular person -- NOT Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Therefore, (in my opinion)...if you attack other organizations (attack back) based on such...you are actually stooping to ther person's level.

And BTW, I think several Sorors have emailed and pm'ed Soror Enroads in regards to her comment. I too think it is no excuse just because she is a neo....

I agreed that my SOROR needed to be corrected, and I believe that has been done. If you felt the way she "brought it" was so inappropriate, why would you feel the need to "come to her" in the same manner? Why call someone out for representing their org in a "less than tasteful fashion" and then do the same to YOUR organization? It doesn't seem as if you "cracked and busted" her.. it seems as if you're acting in a childish manner over something that's been agreed upon as inappropriate. I mean come, on... "your SORRYor"??

I'm not making excuses for ANYBODY, but I think your comments are just as out of line. Even you admit that you're representing your org. poorly. I'm not trying to correct you - as you stated, that responsibility lies with your sorors. But just as your other sorors stated (eloquently, mind you), it's not cool to disrespect other organizations. You disrespect Alpha Kappa Alpha or one of my sorors and you disrespect me, bottom line. Maybe it's the neo in me, but when comments like that are made, it's hard for me to shake it off and not comment.

Y'all are starting to piss me off with this Bullsh*t. Nobody should be on a high horse as if they never made a hasty mistake or even put down another organization amongst their organization or in public. There isn't nothing that anybody can say to discredit my organization on GC. Please Show how much you have grown in your organization and don't even stoop down to a neo level. Everyone that criticized ENDROAD for her comments instead of just pulling her to the side or sending her a PM and giving her insight should be ASHAMED. I don't care how you put it, you should be further along the journey than she is. Just to make a comparison, would any of you get into an argument with a Child?

You should be ashamed just for taking the time to respond to this nonsense in that fashion. Endroads is a grown woman just like my Soror is grown. Being a neo is NEVER an excuse for poor judgment. I think we need to drop this discussion and move on. Period.

Hmmm....so it's Dexter's forum and not APA's forum hosted by Greekchat, headed by John Hammell, which as far as I know is open to all to register and post on ANY of the boards
