Mr. Poppins just added "Showgirls," "Battleship," and "Gosford Park."

Don't think those movies will ever be in anyone's "must see." Unless they like to be tortured.

For me, people gonna hate me, Schindler's List and Lincoln.

My big one (there's just SO many!) is Out of Africa. Maybe it redeems itself in the second half, but since we walked out at the intermission, I'll never know.

A lot of the movies mentioned are in the category of you either love it or hate it. My DH & I found our first link because we both absolutely love Slap Shot!

You all have named some great movies I love Tarentino! For me, anything with Nick Cage blows. Add films with Channing Tatum (except 21 Jump Street) or James Franco. They are both dreadful.

omg! i CANNOT deal with Nicholas Cage. Face/Off was the absolute WORST MOVIE i've ever seen. I get mad thinking about it. Even when he's in movies I like (national treasure, for instance) i still wish someone else was playing his role.

Do you have the sound on? That may be the issue.

I'm dying. My friend made me see Magic Mike, and, well, wow.

Do you still have his number? I never hear anyone talk about this movie and it's my favorite! (probably because it was filmed across the street from my uncle's and we happened to be visiting and the crew including Cher ate in the pizzeria) </bragging>

Magic Mike.

The visuals are amazing. The acting is horrible and I want to punch the sister.

Slumdog Millionaire. I felt guilty after watching it, knowing how awfully the film/production exploited most of the people who appeared in the movie.

Avatar. Big ol' BFD on that one.
