As much as there is to love about the The Wizard of Oz, it fundamentally screwed up the story as far as I'm concerned. I hate how it's all a dream -- sort of ruins it for me.

More often than not I like Wes Anderson's & Judd Apatow's work, just when they lay a bomb they really lay a doozy.

Natural Born Killers - I just thought it was stupid.
Independence Day - I kept waiting for something unpredictable to happen.
Skyfall - Wanted to like it. Bored.

I've never really been big on "Rocky" movies. They're just too unrealistic. Every last one of those "Rocky" fights would have been stopped in the first round in real life (Rocky being the loser).

Every few weeks, someone tells me that I will !!LOVE!! Office Space. I tried and got through about 15 minutes. Likewise with Zoolander.
I HATED Four Weddings and a Funeral. All through that movie, I was like, "Gawd, these two effing annoying people need to get together, shut up, and leave the rest of the world alone."
Loathed Moonstruck. I went on a first date once where early on, he mentioned that Moonstruck was his favorite movie. First and last date, that.
Any Monty Python. I have seen one or two and just did.not.get.it.
Blazing Saddles. I laughed to tears at History of the World Part I, but no idea why Blazing Saddles did nothing for me.
Did not see why people found Slap Shot hilarious, but it was recommended to be by a BIG hockey fan, so maybe that was it.
I'm not a big movie watcher in general, though. Too many of them are too depressing. If I'm paying good money to be entertained, I want to be chortling the whole time.

Fargo. I didn't hate it, by any means, but I DO NOT GET why it is considered some sort of masterpiece. It's not even my favorite Coen Brothers film.

Yeah, I had forgotten that they sort of combined North & South into one character for almost everything after Baum's books. Still doesn't change my opinion on the movie. It's a good thing Zach Braff is adorable, or I would have wasted 2 hours.

The Talented Mr. Ripley
It just seemed pointless

Mr. Poppins just added "Showgirls," "Battleship," and "Gosford Park."

You all have named some great movies I love Tarentino! For me, anything with Nick Cage blows. Add films with Channing Tatum (except 21 Jump Street) or James Franco. They are both dreadful.

I didn't like that movie either (gave up after about a half-hour), but no one's ever told me it was good, so my expectations were low.

Thank you!
I don't get it, either. Any time I casually say, "It's ok..," people flip out and tell me how crazy I am for not loving that movie.

omg! i CANNOT deal with Nicholas Cage. Face/Off was the absolute WORST MOVIE i've ever seen. I get mad thinking about it. Even when he's in movies I like (national treasure, for instance) i still wish someone else was playing his role.
