I agree with what several have said, kicked out after one incidence? I doubt it. Now were there compounding issues? You said she lied about who was there. Maybe she was caught for that. Or was is during recruitment, when you are not allowed to attend fraternity parties.
Even then, I doubt she was kicked out for a first offense. More likely put on probation and asked to attend some sort of alcohol counseling/awareness seminar. Maybe she was put on probation and failed to complete the assigned tasks.
Or she was embarassed and decided to drop and just told you and "everyone" that she was kicked out.
Since generally what happens at standards/chapter relations/whatever you want to call it is confidential, it's not like the other chapter members present at the meeting can talk about it.
