LOL. If some people are upset, it could be because Kim K. is just the newest nonBlack woman who is praised for things that many Black women have had for generations. While Kim K. is getting props from both Black men and the mainstream media for her butt, Black women received little praise for their bodies and even received more mockery, inequality, and cruelty for their bodies.

Here in Dubai there is a LOT of this skin bleaching going on since it is such a racist society. The part I seriously don't get is (and crucify me for making a blanket statement), aren't black people on the eternal mission to get RID of chalky skin? It looks weird, zomby'ish, and unhealthy. Staying out of the sun is one thing (and MANY women walk around with umbrellas every day), but applying chemicals to your skin is something completely different. The worst cases of it I see are the Filippina women who bleach their skin. It makes them look like they have Downs Syndrome. I'm always biting my tongue to keep from asking if it's actually worse to look dark than retarded. Arabs can pull it off reasonably well, making themselves look Jewish (and again, is this a good alternative in their minds?), but South Asians most definitely cannot.
