Why do so many people hate Little drummer boy?

Count me in the hating Little Drummer Boy camp. And I'm not sure why I don't like it - maybe because I feel like it has no melody? I can't pin down a reason, I just really don't like it. Though I did like it when Angela performed it on The Office

I also loathe the U2 "feed the world" yadda yadda song for similar reasons. First of all, there will not be snow in Africa this Christmas, but there never has (except perhaps on the peaks of Mt. Kilimanjaro) so I don't think they'll miss it. Second of all, I loathe people reprimanding you for being a bad person via song. How do you know I don't work to stop world hunger? Stop yelling at me Bono!

Angela: Is there any way our first dance can be to my favorite song, The Little Drummer Boy?
Andy: Of course!
Angela: Really?
Andy: Yeah! I mean it's a great song. I always thought it was bigger than Christmas anyway. You know?

I liked Bad Santa at first but I've seen it so many times anymore that I'm now annoyed by it.

Really?! I can understand the Grinch song (You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch...) but anything Dr. Seuss? That's wrong

I love A Christmas Story and I don't care who knows it.
I also like all Christmas Songs (except the Christmas Shoes one) for about a week, then I tire of them and turn on the iPod.

We love that movie too at our house. I have seen several lamp leg replicas this year as well. I'm quite tempted to buy one, stick it in my window and see which neighbor would be the first to complain about it.

I've never actually seen It's a Wonderful Life all the way through. I've seen snippets here and there. I have no desire to watch the entire thing all the way through either!

I finally watched it all the way through for the first time two years ago, while getting ready for a trivia tournament. I can definitely see why it's a classic. That said, shows truly become classic when they're only available to the general public maybe 2-3 times a year or on dvd.
As for All I Want For Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey, having seen love, actually before hearing it, I didn't even recognize the song. To me, they're two different songs - and I love Olivia Olson's version SO much better. (fyi - the version you hear in love, actually is really sung by the young girl named Joanna - Olivia Olson)
