Women have two nipples...not eight like dogs and cats, thus most humans shouldn't be having a litter. If she already has 6 kids, WTF is she doing having more, especially 8! Where is the dad? She lives with her parents ? WTF is wrong with this picture!
Are my tax dollars going to pay for this BS?
ETA it's hard to stay anonymous when you pop out 8 kids.No one noticed she got GINORMOUS? Please, like the neighbors weren't going to talk, they were already talking about the 6 she has if she's "young".

3) Whose to say this isn't the home of the octuplet's parents and she is either a) allowing them to live with her for some reason or b) they aren't staying there with the six kids because the mother is in the hospital and just had octuplets! Almost everybody I know had the grandparents come when they had ONE baby. My mom slept over with my daughter at our house when I was in the hospital having my son. This isn't outrageous or unusual.
Bottom line: If a woman got pregnant with 8 children and through selective abortion, had only two or three, people would be up in arms about that too.

1. Who cares if they asked to stay anonymous? Did they think everyone in their lives was going to honor that? And, let's be honest here, it's not like they are gonna be able to stay hidden for more than two seconds...
2. http://www.ktla.com/landing_topstori...58&feedID=1198
Multiple people are confirming it. Not just one person close to the family (who asked to stay anonymous), but her neighbors as well.

Neighbors Tell ABC News Woman Is Single Mother Living With Parents
3. Are you serious? I think we all know the difference between STAYING to HELP temporarily and LIVING with your mom and dad...
ETA: If she already had six kids why did she have more to begin with? But, if she's gonna get herself knocked-up, she should not selectively abort. You're right I would have had a problem with that, too...

I know that in some pharmacies in Mexico (which is not too far from the LA area) you can get a lot of stuff without a prescription...

Like I said before, some insurers cover it, others don't; it's easy to see how people who want a kid and who can't afford in vitro would take this route.
|
There are also sites where people sell their unused fertility meds (either they got pregnant or their doctor has changed their medication protocol and they want to recoup some of their costs back). Or you can post an ad looking for certain meds. Some have a prescription for it but if you don't have insurance (or your insurance is too damn stingy to cover it...don't get me started) it can cost a hell of a lot more through a pharmacy and buying someone's left over meds can save a lot of money. So they go by what their prescription says and then get what they need off the internet.

The PCOS has to be a documented case first, I know b/c I have it.

I have never heard of that. I have PCOS and was put on Metformin.
As a rule, Clomid will not produce that many eggs. I am wondering if she used injectables without a doctor's supervision. IUI or timed sex with injectables have more of a chance of multiples
Obviously she does not have fertility problems. Most RE's (reproductive endocrinolgists) would not have touched her with a 10 foot pole

The news report stated that she decided against selective abortion. That has to count for something. Sure, her decision to have more was irresponsible, but she's doing what she feels is right in spite of the mess she's created for herself.

DAD: The mill's closed! There's no more work. We're destitute.
CHILDREN: [talking]
DAD: Come in, my little loves. I've got no option but to sell you all for scientific experiments.
CHILDREN: [whining]
DAD: No, no. That's the way it is, my loves. Blame the Catholic church for not letting me wear one of those little rubber things. Oh, they've done some wonderful things in their time. They preserved the might and majesty, the mystery of the Church of Rome, and the sanctity of the sacraments, the indivisible oneness of the Trinity, but if they'd let me wear one of those little rubber things on the end of my cock, we wouldn't be in the mess we are now.
BOY: Couldn't Mummy have worn some sort of pessary?
DAD: Not if we're going to remain members of the fastest growing religion in the world, my boy.

She has six other kids and still lives at home with mom???
She was already fertile, why then, did she feel a need to have fertility treatments to have more kids?
Maybe it's just me, but I feel that somewhere out there, it's irresponsible to let someone that already has a LARGE family to get a treatment known to make you have many multiple births at once.
I could see this if she didn't have kids at all or had trouble getting pregnant naturally but....she obviously had no problems....maybe she couldn't wait thru 8 more pregnancies.
My question who will be responsible for raising ALL 14 of these kids?
Her...or the taxpayers?
...somebody's gotta say it....
Don't know if you guys saw...but the answer to the Baby Daddy question:
Suleman said she was concerned about her daughter's homecoming because her husband, a contract worker, is due to return to Iraq.

Wow. Just wow. Her husband is a contract worker, so he'll be gone for months and months. She's still a fucking idiot for breeding that many kids after already having 6.

They were talking about this on the radio. It is said she plans to breast feed and when they figured it out, that would take her 36 hours or 18 if she did two at a time. All of her kids are ages 2-7. I don't know how she'll find the time for anything!

Oh man, this shit keeps getting better. The only thing that could improve this is if Blagojevich is the baby daddy!
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,485924,00.html
She filed for bankruptcy a few years ago. She used sperm from her old donor who doesn't know he has this many kids around. At least they all have the same father?
It's her DAD who's going back to Iraq, not her sperminator.

Where did you see this? I couldn't find it. And if that is the case, can she sue for child support??
