I'm glad that was brought back. I was there when it closed a few years ago. It was really sad, but there were no volunteers.

Would you like an overview of college sororities and Greek Life?
This is an opportunity for High School women and their parents to talk with representatives from colleges and universities about Greek Life on campus and better understand the sorority recruitment process.
For more information contact Sarah Rochford at sarahrochford@yahoo.com

I'll add the Cleveland (OH) APH site to the list for the Ohio peeps:

http://www.clevelandpanhellenic.org/

I'm not a member, so I don't know if they regularly help with recs (since not many OH schools are big on them), but there is contact info listed for alumnae in the area.

Are there any in the South Texas region (Corpus Christi)? Also, are these workshops just for high school seniors? And what is the purpose of attending them?

I'm sure there is one in that area or somewhere close to it. You can check their directory here:

http://npcwomen.org/alumnae-panhellenics/directory.aspx

The workshops are geared toward HS seniors, mainly talking to them about the benefits of joining, how the APH can help them get ready for recruitment, and other stuff like what the process is like. I'm sure it can't hurt for you to contact them and maybe attend an event.

If you type in "Corpus Christi Alumnae Panhellenic" you'll find the contact for at least 1 person. This is what I found (it comes straight from the TTU website):

Corpus Christi

munchkin, it makes for less work(and maybe less paperwork) on the panhellenic ladies if they host one event in one location, rather than events in multiple locations. it might also indicate that the pnms who show up are a little more serious about recruitment, having had to make the extra effort to go to the yacht club.

as for your 70 recommendations in one summer, that has got to be some kind of record and you should definately be in the panhellenic hall of fame!

Here is a link to the Orlando Area Alumnae Panhellenic

I didn't see anything on there about information meetings, but you could also contact one of the officers.

A Charlotte mom is hosting her own informational meeting, and sorority reps will be there. I think it's June 3. If anyone is interested around the Charlotte area, PM me and I'll get you more information as it becomes available.
