It took me around an hour. I was the 533th voter in my precinct at 10 am.

It only took me about 10 minutes, counting the time I spent filling out my ballot.

The new optical scanning system is sooo much nicer than the old lever voting machines. The lever machines were old, and finicky - I once waited on line for 2 hours because my polling place only had one functioning machine (and that was for a local election!). I don't trust touch-screen voting, either. So I'm glad Connecticut went to the new system - it's quick and easy, and there are actual physical paper ballots to count in case there are any problems.

It took me 15 minutes. There was some drama because one of the usual polling places wasn't in use this year and there were some frustrated people who kept trying to figure out where to go and vote.

20 minutes. i was number 7585 at 8:30am.

There were three other precincts voting the same place I was. They had LOOOOOONG lines.

I am glad to see/hear about long lines. It means more and more people are exercising their right to vote and making their voices known (women especially).

I voted during lunch break. Walked right in - no wait. I asked how was the turn out and was told that I was the 652nd to vote out of an about 1100 person voter role.

Voted early 2 weeks ago on Saturday. Took all of 10 mniutes start to finish and much of that was getting past folks giving out political literature on the way to the door (they were tyhe required distance away).

Arrived at 6:50 am and cast my ballot at about 8 am. The wait wasn't bad at all as everyone was patient and in a good mood. We chatted up a storm till it was time to part ways! The poll officers went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable and happy. They brought out chairs for us to sit on and kept us informed on the estimated wait time.

I was there around 4:00 and was in line for about 20 minutes. When I left, the line had about 20 folks in it. Not bad at all for a small-town district.

About 45minutes. The wait was painless...the elderly woman who had trouble reading & embarassed me infront of my neighbors by YELLING OUT MY ADDRESS, not so painless. It was my first time voting at a polling place and voting in the great state of NY! I've been an absentee voter for Florida the last 2 elections due to school.

Took me probably max 15 minutes to wait in line. It would have been quicker but people are stupid. Seriously, when your next in line and the people registering you call "next" your suppose to go up to them, not stay in line.
