LOL There is a fundraiser that one of the groups did here - Pups and Pops. They sold popsicles and rented puppies for you to walk, cuddle, or play with in exchange for a donation to the shelter.

When I was in law school, I went down to the Humane Society about once a week, just to pet the dogs. I couldn't get my own dog, but petting rescues was a great stress reliever.
