But now, in the interest of wanting to see the SEC eat the enormous egos they've displayed here, I was screaming for the Wolverines and I guess I'll be doing the same for the Buckeyes.

Add Wisconsin to that. Too bad, they could have won their game today, but had a lot of mistakes. I always root for all the Big 10 teams in bowl games.

Michigan-Florida was fun game to watch. Henne had almost as many passing yards as FL had totaled offensively. Congrats on ending your bowl drought, UM.

bowl records so far
SEC 5-2
B10 3-4 (including the loss USC is about to hand ILL)

including this game, since 2000, Florida has faced a Big Ten team in a bowl game 6 times. the two wins came in `06 and `07.

OSU doesn't fair so well against SEC teams in bowl games though. i think it's something like 0-8 in those situations.

HAIL TO THE VICTORS!!!!
It was weird seeing Michigan run a spread offense and use trick plays, the era of "4 yards and a cloud of dust" is officially over in Ann Arbor.

The team with the best fight song won every game today, just an observation.

I may rot in hell, but that made me chuckle.

I'm bummed, but then again, Illinois far surpassed expectations. I can't be too upset.

I thought your defense held its own, but turnovers and lack of a real passing game hurt.

That, and the fact that SC (Southern Cal) is pretty damned good and very well coached.

Congratulations on the season, though.

Probably more like waiting for the final outcome of the SUGAr Bowl before giving a final tally. All I have for you is the SEC is 5-2. I'm enjoying the Sugar Bowl, but I'm not counting Hawaii out just because the score is 24-3.

NOTE: I'll be beyond PO'ed if Hawaii winds up winning because it would've been a jinx. I drove by a Delta Airlines digital billboard in downtown ATL last night around 1 AM. The billboard showed someone thrusting a red UGA helmet in the air with a black background. The billboard simply read "Congratulations Bulldogs".

WTH??? Delta wasn't "congratulating" us the days before Jan. 1, and I didn't like that presumptous message before the game was played. What crap.

Undefeated no more.

Great win by Georgia. They sure did make Colt their tackling dummy.

Yep. Hawaii had as much business being in the Sugar as Illinois had in being in the Rose.

As a Big XII fan, I'm still a little ticked that Mizzou, with the better record got left out of the picture despite the fact that they had actually beaten Illinois.

No kidding. I thought the whole Mizzou thing was ridiculous. But hey, they won their bowl game.
