After 13 years of marriage, it's over for Singer/Songwriter Babyface and his wife Tracey. Babyface and his wife have been separated for two years and they have two children. In a statement, they say they will remain best friends and work together in their companies. Their most successful venture was the movie and TV show, Soul Food. What happened, and why were we the last to know they were separated for so long? Apparently, Babyface and his wife have been having problems for awhile. Word has it he has been spending time with his first wife. A couple of years ago, there was a rumor going on that Tracey was having an affair with a basketball player who played for the Lakers. Babyface and Tracey vehemently denied it and called the story nonsense. They separated shortly after this blew over. Was their trouble in paradise? Where did the love go? Was cheating involved? Babyface is currently on the road promoting his new CD, and he's coming to Philadelphia in December.

Eddie Murphy has had enough of his soon to be ex-wife's antics. He wants Nicole Murphy to honor their prenuptial agreement. Eddie feels it is valid and fair. There is no need for her to get half his fortune and squander it on her new man. He has also ordered her to keep their five kids away from her boyfriend. The boyfriend in question, Alan Daniels, has a shady past, and Eddie is worried about his fortune. He does not want his hard earned money in the hands of this man. Nicole wants her fair share. After 12 years of marriage and five kids, she feels she deserves half of his fortune. Eddie is not playing with Nicole, and the divorce has taken another nasty turn. Nicole's parents have been living in a house Eddie brought in Sacramento. Eddie is now in the process of selling the house and Nicole's parents, who have been living there for years, have to get out. They are devastated, and now they have to find a new place to live. The Murphy divorce will probably be one of the nastiest in Hollywood history.

Oprah Winfrey is on a mission to capture and put away child predators. Oprah has launched an initiative to highlight the stories of victims and survivors of child predators. She is offering $100 thousand reward per case for those individuals who provide critical information leading to the arrest and capture of fugitives featured on her show. Since Oprah launched the child predator watch list, two fugitives have been nabbed.

Fantasia can read! Fantasia was in Philadelphia last week for a signing of her book, Life Is Not A Fairytale. I had a chance to catch up with Fantasia, and we discussed her reading problems. She cleared up the story about not being able to read. She says she can read, she is just not the best reader, not a strong reader. She realizes after the infamous 20/20 interview that people thought she was stupid, and she says she was shocked at what she saw in the interview. I think this was a ploy to sell the book, but they didn't need to do this. It's a fast read, and she has quite a story to tell. She was very nice and down to earth. I can see why the American Idol judges voted her their favorite out of all the people who became stars on the show. She is wonderful, and she has a positive message that many people need to hear. The book is available in stores now.

Will there be a second season of Being Bobby Brown? Bobby wants more money from the Bravo network. Will they give him what he thinks he's worth? Bobby wants a lot of money. He got $3 million for the first season. Bobby realizes how hot the show was, and now he wants to cash in. Will he price himself out? Will Whitney be back? Truth be told, she was the real star of the show. Aw…. Hell No! Hell To The No! She gave us new pop culture slang. Bobby surprised a lot of people this past weekend at the 2005 Black Movie Awards. Bobby showed up looking a hot mess. He was not working just attending the show but he was dressed all wrong. Bobby had on a dirty shirt, wrinkled pants and run down shoes. People could smell his breath a mile away. What's going on with him now?

Dennis Rodman is about to release his new book, I Should Be Dead By Now, and he talks about his 8-day marriage to former Baywatch Babe Carmen Elektra. Rodman claims during sex Carmen likes to use the N word. Take It N---- ! Go Ahead Take It! This Is Yours! Rodman and Elektra had a wild relationship. In 1999, they had a fight that led to their arrest. He claims she was trying to insert uncooked pasta into him while he slept. Carmen is now happily married to Rocker Dave Navarro, and in a statement, she said she feels sad that Rodman had to write a book like this. She stated he probably has her confused with some of the girls he cheated on her with.

The divorce is final between Omarosa and her husband of six and a half years, Aaron Stallworth, and now, he's talking. Stallworth, 28, says the former Apprentice star was the love of his life and that she let her ambition get in the way. Omarosa wants to be a star and she has no time for him. Omarosa first shot to fame on season one of The Apprentice. She was mean, nasty and she became a star. Omarosa lost out on The Apprentice title, but she went on to star in other reality shows {The Surreal Life and Fear Factor}. Stallworth's family and friends are supporting him, and he says he now realizes they did not have a happy marriage. He didn't even know what her real hair looked like. She always wore weaves. And, they were separated for more than half of their marriage.

Usher recently did a benefit concert for Hurricane Katrina Victims that will air on BET October 19th.

The Vibe Awards will air November 15th on the UPN network. Mary J. Blige will be getting the Vibe Legend Award. Her new album, Reminisce, comes out on November 22nd.

Jamie Foxx's album, Unpredictable, also comes out on November 22nd.

The BET network will be celebrating their 25th Silver Anniversary with a special airing on November 1st on BET. Alicia Keys, R Kelly, Mary J. Blige, John Legend, Earth Wind & Fire and Ron Isley are scheduled to appear.

The health and fitness publication Heart & Soul is back after a two year absence. Singer Toni Braxton is on the cover. The magazine is geared towards women's health, fitness, financial, mental and spiritual well being. Congrats to the staff on your relaunch.

Ebony Magazine is celebrating its 60th anniversary with a special issue featuring Denzel Washington, Halle Berry and Jamie Foxx on the cover. What an issue! It covers everything from music, TV, movies, politics, religion and the civil rights movement.

Angie Stone has a greatest hits CD coming on October 25th. The CD will also feature a bonus DVD featuring live concert footage.

Have you seen the movie The Gospel? I loved this movie! Over the weekend it took in over $8 million at the box office. If you haven't seen it go to the movies and check it out……please don't do bootleg! Support the movie in theatres with your dollars and make sure your ticket stub says 'The Gospel' on it. You want The Gospel to get the credit not another movie.

Is Janet Jackson preparing her body for a baby? Friends say the 39 year-old singer is ready for motherhood, and she has stopped her strenuous workouts. She has gained a little weight judging from recent photos. Her boyfriend, Producer Jermaine Dupri, is 33 and he would love to have a child with his lady love.

It's twin boys for Comedian and Actress Monique. David and Jonathan came early and now they are here. Monique and her Fiancé, Sidney Hicksam, are on top of the world with their bundles of joy. Monique has an older son named Mark. When I was expecting four years ago, I interviewed Monique, and she told me she couldn't wait to have another child. Now, she has two.

VH1 and Soul Train Creator Don Cornelius are teaming up to air future Soul Train productions including the Lady of Soul Awards, The Soul Train Christmas Star Fest and the Soul Train Awards.

Wesley Snipes is off the hook! The paternity tests are in and the kid is not his son. An Indiana woman was claiming that the Blade star was the father of her four year-old son. Snipes, 43, is married with children, and he claimed all along that the kid was not his. He says the accuser was a mentally ill crack addict, and now he is suing her for defamation of character. He says his reputation is ruined because of her. He claims she became delusional after seeing him in the movie 'Blade'.

Actress Lark Voorhees is doing better after a recent stay at a drug facility. Voorhees is best known for the TV show, Saved By The Bell. Voorhees was addicted to cocaine. She claims her life went out of control after her career stalled.

These two women are married to musical superstars. Their husbands are legends who are sure to go down in history as musical giants. Despite being married to superstars these women share another secret. Well, it's not a secret. It's public knowledge they are abused women. They are being abused by their husbands. They have tried to leave, they even went public with their stories of beatings, and imprisonment, but they always go back and the abuse starts again. Will someone have to die before it's too late! When will they have the courage to leave? The beatings will not stop.

There's trouble at the King Center in Atlanta. Apparently a power struggle is going on between brothers Martin Luther King III and Dexter King. Dexter stepped down as head of the center last year after running it for ten years. He wanted to concentrate on entertainment opportunities. Martin III took over, but Dexter continued to play a major part in operations. Their mother, Coretta Scott King, just returned home after being hospitalized for a stroke and a heart attack. She does not need this added stress with her sons not getting along. Hopefully, for her sake and the future of the King Center, they will iron out their differences.

The Black Movie Awards air October 19th on the TNT network. Cedric The Entertainer will be hosting. Sidney Poitier is getting a lifetime achievement award. Other top honors for the night include a special award for the 1980's classic, The Color Purple, and Kimberly Elise (Diary of A Mad Black Woman, Set It Off, Beloved) is getting the Rising Star award.

Legendary Actress Ruby Dee and her husband, the late Ossie Davis, will be honored this year at the Marian Anderson Awards Gala. The event takes place October 24th at the Kimmel Center, Broad and Spruce Streets. Robin Roberts of Good Morning America will be the evening's mistress of ceremonies. Harry Belafonte will be the keynote speaker, and Singer Jill Scott is performing. Other guests include Nancy Wilson, Phylicia Rashad, Poet Sonya Sanchez, Soprano Jessye Norman and the musical group Sweet Honey In The Rock. I want another season of Being Bobby Brown! He knows that show has blown up and I don't blame him for wanting more $.

20 year old Eva Pigford of UPN's 'America's Next Top Model' Reality Show
recently became engaged to 36 year old Henry Simmons of NYPD Blue and is
sporting a 5 karat diamond ring to prove it. Henry met Eva at a fashion show
where the diva worked the catwalk and it was love at first sight, he said.
"Eva is an intelligent business minded individual that I deeply love very
much," he said. The couple are planning a spring wedding in California next
year.

Eva who came to fame in 2004 was a 19-year-old student from Los Angeles who
had been criticized for her "diva" attitude earlier in the competition, was
crowned 'America's Next Top Model' during the third cycle of the popular UPN
"dramality" series. This win lead up to numerous Covergirl endorsments,
magazine spreads and tv hosting jobs.

Henry is one of three children born to a retired IRS agent and a former
school teacher. One of his sisters is his twin. Simmons earned a basketball
scholarship at Franklin Pierce College in New Hampshire. He graduated with a
business degree and quickly went to work for a Stamford financial firm. He
quickly realized that was not his calling.

He started studying acting at night. He soon was sneaking away from work to
go to auditions. He made his TV debut in a "Saturday Night Live" skit,
replacing NBA star Derrick Coleman after he broke an ankle. He then got bit
parts on several TV series. This led to a continuous role on the soap opera
"Another World" and then to "NYPD Blue". While waiting for his breakthrough,
he worked as a hotel bellman.

I dunno. Why would they appear on national/worldwide TV show if they haven't sort of reunited? Why sing on Stevie's song as the Original En Vogue? They could have kept the trio line-up for that. LOL I had not heard about a supposed reality show featuring them.

Let's pray it isn't EnVogue, cause a sista would LOVE to hear (new material) from them.

When was this? I've watched this show, and I've never seen anyone but Holly even cuddle up w/him late at night. Bridgette and Kendra always go to their own bedrooms, esp. since Bridgette's little sister is spending the summer there w/them.

Now I'm going to have to watch more closely in the future. I really think that the term girlfriends is used loosely, though. I'm just convince that these girls just get paid to stay in Heff's house and make public appearances with him.

If they are holding out for him to die and them to receive the cash then they are really going to be disappointed. Hugh is old, but not stupid. He's had a many a 'girl-toy' over the years, and I doubt that he's starting to get it twisted now.

Sources report that Britney Spears and Kevin Federline have hired a nanny for their new baby boy, Sean Preston. The woman who birthed Kevin's first two babies, Shar Jackson, has supposedly taken the job watching his third. A source says, "Shar was the first person Britney turned to when Kevin started going out partying and playing golf, instead of looking after her and their new baby. Shar suspects Kevin is envious of the amount of time Britney spends with her son, so she's looking after Sean to give Britney more time with Kev. They hope that by uniting all of his children under one roof, and creating a cozy, domestic atmosphere, he'll want to spend more time at home."

Actually as I understand it, her former boyfriend was a grad of CAU (so I guess she has liked older guys for a while!). They dated her freshman year and they broke up shortly after she blew up. She said they couldn't spend enough time together. ((This is from a former coworker who also went to CAU and was friends with her ex)
