My sister just called me to tell me they are doing a revote. Jeez, FOX, get it right, please.

I tivo'd the show as well, and watched it at around 11 pm...recap:

Anthony: Hated it...he is no clay.

Carrie: Loved the song, but what the hell did she let them do to her hair? It was a rat's nest , and AWFUL!!

Scott: Blech...Jessica sang that same song earlier in the season, much better. George sang it last season...much better. And what's with throwing his glasses? Not a fan...

Bo: LOVED IT! I thought it was great

Nikko: FABULOUS!!! I thought the best of the night.

Nadia: OH MY GOD...absolutely AWFUL! I can't stand this girl, and I have no idea why, but each week, she is more on my nerves...not like constantscream or mikkie, but close.

Constantine: Go home...the partridge family? dear lord...out of 900 songs, he picks the partridge family...

Mikkie: AWFUL! It's time honey...start singing leaving on a jet plane

Anwar: it was eh...ok...i'm losing my faith in him.

Jessica: did great, loved the song, loved her voice. I like her a lot.

Top 3: Carrie, Bo, Nikko
Bottom 3: Nadia, Mikkie, Constantscream

We'll figure it out on thursday

Actually, I agree with this. Last night when I heard him, I was thinking it wasn't really that great, but today I heard the song on Launchcast (my coworkers and I keep it on all day) and I realized that Bo didn't mess it up... that's how the song is! He actually sounded VERY much like Jim Croce in his rendition. Of course I have heard the song before, but I guess I needed to hear it again to really compare. Anyone who's still skeptical should give the original a listen, and you'll see what I mean.

So since I missed most of last night, I am re-watching it.

So - here is what I'm thinking so far...

1) Did y'all here Nikko singing that song to me? I couldn't believe it when he said "without you AXO Alum, my life is incomplete" - I am gonna be Nikko's baby' mamma

2) I am so LOL at whomever said they were waiting for Carrie's hair to come alive... AGREED

Good song for her BUT - dang, can someone tell Bertie (or whatever her name is) to cut out the loudness on the back-up singing? I couldn't hear Carrie over her, and she ain't that good!

3) Anthony - eh - def no Clay. And seriously - the boy is getting FAT - he & Constannoying need to lay off the buffet.

4) I thought Scott sounded marvelous as usual. Its a MUCH better effect if I close my eyes because...
a) he looked like a gi-normous penguin
b) he looked like a penguin having sex with the mike stand
c) he looked like a penguin doing the "junior high school dance sway"

He sounds good - he just has no presence!

5) I thought Bo did great. I am a big Jim Croce fan also, and I thought he did it justice (except for the la-la part - weirdness)

6) Vonzell did AWESOME. That was def her night. I hope that she gets the votes to stay around. And she looks gorgeous tonight. She is just lovely - not that "harsh" look she sometimes has.

7) Nikko - did I mention I'm gonna be his baby' momma?

Oh my goodness - that man is just delicious.

ok...I'm watching the recap... while Mikalah sounded rough on that song... I really like her personality... (I wont vote 4 her though)

I missed last night and I can't watch on Wednesday's because I have class and AI competes with Alias and I choose the latter.

so.....

can someone please tell me who got booted tonight?

As long as Carrie is still in I'm totally fine, she is really the only one I like.

If you are free tomorrow night, you will be able to see who gets the boot for yourself. There was a problem last night during the recaps and three of the contestants had conflicting numbers posted for them. So they reran the performances tonight and opened up the lines to vote again tonight. The results show will be Thursday night. This week you get lucky!

But if you just remember what number your person was. ie. Carrie was 2.....the number to dial is pretty simple (IDOL 02)

So i think the graphics might have not thrown off many people - maybe none at all.

In order to be statistically fair, they had to rerun the episode with the correct numbers to call in.

I think this mistake is the best thing to happen to the show all season. Everyone was buzzing about the number error, and tons of extra people tuned in to watch the repeat show, and may end up watching through the end of the season.

AI did the right thing, and most likely captured a new group of fans with all the PR the rerun generated.
