The do not disturb sign is back up again, and I'm sure it's been that way for a while. What's really crappy is that you can'to back and get the things she's hidden behind that door that you've missed.

Was there anything else to get? I thought only the stuff in the drawer? Uh-oh. I'll be supremely pissed if I didn't look around more & I ended up missing stuff.

I don't know.
I was just saying because I didn't get a chance to look around the last time the do nut disturb sign came off and now I've missed what ever it was that was in there.

Just go to the Leaky Cauldron, you should be able to find it all out there.

Mugglenet.com also has a section devoted to all the stuff that has been up on JK's site.

Anyone picking up the HP3 DVD today?
I have it on my Christmas list but I'm really tempted to just buy it now...

That's awesome! I preordered it myself the first day (I think) it was offered on B&N, so I'm hoping I'll get it tomorrow, but probably not until Friday or Saturday, with my luck

Do you know how upset I am that my professor let us out of class LATE and as a consequence, I was unable to stop at target and get a copy?
I was practically crying in class. I even wore my "Muggle" t-shirt my brother got me for my bday in order to mark the occasion.
Stupid grad school professors who want to make people do stupid presentations who go over the stupid time.

So I finally read through all of these posts and I discovered something I had never though about. In the Edinburgh festival interview, Rowling states that she was very careful about how she worded the prophesy... and if this is true then it is obvious why Dumbledore did not kill Voldemort in book 5, and explains (well a little bit) why Voldemort survived the night he tried to kill Harry. If Voldemort dies, then so does Harry. According to her prophesy
" neither can live while the other survives"
That was the direct quote.... so it could be taken to meant that if one is alive then they must both be alive.... I guess this means Harry dies in book 7 in order to save everyone. It makes sense, Dumblesore talked about death being the next adventure and he would be with his real family (Parents and Sirius). Plus, the end of C.S.Lewis's Narnia cronicles had them all in heaven as the final adventure... and I remember reading on here that Lewis was one of Rowling's favorite authors and someone she modeled her writing off of.
This is not to say that if Harry dies, I will be happy because I love the character (and I have always been a Harry/Hermione shipper

While I think that's true that whomever the prophecy is referring to will die so that Voldemort can die and the world can be saved...there's the whole Neville thing. You know, Neville having the same birthday as Harry, etc, etc. I'm inclined to think that Ms. Rowling is not so obvious in her writing's and maybe, just maybe, Harry will survive at the end of book 7.
