I'm guessing you're a legacy at QH since the president bumped in on you! Don't know where you ended up yet though!

More please - this is a great story!

This is the first rec story I've read where someone took the houses' collective GPAs into account. Good observation!

Ok, sorry this took so long i've just been really busy! This isn't super long because there wasn't really a whole lot to talk about.. at least that I can remember lol

Well, we got to the auditorium the next day to get our list of houses that we were going to go to that day. I didn't know what to expect because I knew all the houses knew my sister so I didn't know if that would matter greatly or not have much of an impact... well, it did haha! I didn't want to look at it as a bad thing because if I wasn't invited back to certain houses that I really wanted (or decided I didn't want the legacy house) I could always try out the house i got a bid to and go from there or there was always next year

So I looked at my list and it had Palomino (I was happy), Chincoteague (I was happy), Friesen (eh, not so much but hey), and Hackney (again, not so much). I was looking forward to Pal and ChT but not Friesian and Hackney.
We had to go to all the houses we were invited back to because you would be dropped otherwise, and plus that would be really disrespectful to bail on someone who invited you back into their home, you know?

So anyway.. I went back to Friesian first, I think, and I was quite bored. However, this wasn't the most boring part of the day. I don't remember much more from this house that day except that I knew I wouldn't end up having the experience I wanted.

Next was Hackney.. THIS was not fun. I think I may have started sleepwalking at one point because my tour guide barely spoke and when she did it was "um, this is my room.." "um, this is another room.." in a soft voice. Again, I don't remember much except that it was boring.

Anyway, since I got those houses out of the way early, I next went to Pal. I ended up being paired up with a girl from my area and she had worked a little bit with horses! She was incredibly nice and we had good conversations about the house and the girls in it. I was really interested in hearing what she had to say about events they participated in and things they've won in the past. It was definitely my number one house so far.

Last was ChT. I only talked to one girl this time and her and I clicked. It was pretty much constant talking (back anf forth, not just on one person's part). I was happy I had been invited but I was still a little confused about the mix of people and what it would actually be like to be in this house.

Now we had to go back and choose our top 3.
I chose
Palomino, Chincoteague (I had great experiences at both houses), then Hackney to fill the last spot.

Ok, I'll try to get the last day (includes bid night) posted tomorrow!!
Still got any ideas of where I ended up? Am I a Hackney..? a Palomino..? or a Chincoteague..!?!?!?!

Sorry, this post will be short and not super interesting. There wasn't really much to say.

Ok, this is the last day before bid night. The most houses you could go back to was 3. Each round lasted an hour i believe.
I was called back to the same houses except Hackney.
Everything was pretty much the same except this time they had a ceremony and some seniors wrote letters. It was mostly for us to feel like we were being accepted, ya know? Each ceremony was really nice.. Friesen kind of dragged on though, but it was still very nice to witness. At this point I was leaning more towards Palomino, though I still really Chincoteague, I just felt more at home at the Palomino house after talking to the same girl two days in a row at both houses.
I felt wanted at both Pal and ChT so I felt I would be happy at either one, but I really wanted Palomino at this point.
Soooo... the next day all the girls in rush group went to dinner together and could barely eat because we were nervous and excited! After, we walked to the auditorium together to recieve our bids!
Where did I end up??? Find out soon!!
