*crash*
I'm not a teacher, but from reading NICU films for 5 years, I'd say that I'd avoid any derivation of the words Destiny and Miracle. I've seen Ama-miracle, Shamiracle, LaDestiny, Plain ole Destiny and countless others. Sadly, most of these kids were in such bad shape that neither name applied.

How could I forget? Our school has been run ragged by Destinys and Devons. And since they sound alike, we've had at least 3 brother and sister pairs with those names.

Shhhhhh! I got my popcorn ready, just let her go. *I'm so bad...*
I'm not a teacher, but my mother was and so Carlos is OUT just for her. From my growing up, I will never my kids Reyna, Leonard, Ashley, or Michael. I will stay away from the cutesy ones like Princess, Precious, etc. because that DOOMS a kid to be a demon seed. And if there are more vowels than letters, then let it go. LET IT GO.

Example? I can't think of anything but my own name, which has 4 vowels and 1 consonant (which is what I assume you meant), and is quite normal.

I mean adding extra vowels to the point where it's hard to prounounce. I have a real-life example in mind, but can't even remember how to spell it, it was so complicated. Only 3 vowels were needed, but because of substitutions (like 'au' for an 'o') it ballooned out to like 6. Think like if someone named their kid "AisTha" but spelled it "Aiyeishia." Or "Terrence" became "Taiyrinse." It was that type of ridiculous. Poor kid.

On the flip side, my sister in law named her first child after a little girl she loved while teaching pre-school: Lee Ann

A kid named Richard threw up on my lunch tray in the 2nd grade and ever since then I've hated every Richard I've met. Not sure if it's because I'm biased against Richards or just that they are all assholes.
My mom is a first grade teacher and she has had several hellish Dakotas.
