Let's See....

Let Go- Frou Frou (a great feel good song, From Garden State soundtrack- I highly recommend this soundtrack)

Wonderwall-Oasis (damn my ex-boyfriend!)

Goodbye to You-Michelle Branch (just because)

Sunday Mornin'-Maroon 5 (great song to think about living in NYC)

Breakaway- Kelly Clarkson (dreaming of NYC)

All I want is you-U2 (who in their right mind wouldnt have any U2 song listed as memerable? This song makes me cry everytime I hear it)

"Angel" by Sarah McLachlan--> End of summer. I first heard it when the Lilith Fair came to Toronto in August, 1997, about two weeks before school started.

"Home for a Rest" by Spirit of the West--> Basically my entire four years of undergrad. They played it at quite a bit when I was a frosh and also at class of 2002 formals that were held each year. I think it had to do with the song appearing on the "Frosh" CD the year I started university

"Stop" by the Spice Girls-- hitting the clubs with my floormates in first year

"Foolish Games" by Jewel-- Valentine's Semiformal '98. I got to dance with my non-date crush item

"All I Want To Do Is Be With You" by Mr. Big(g?)-- Sitting in a bar in Paris, France 2001 with several people from my study abroad program and we sang along with the CD. One guy had never heard the song before (I first heard it in spring 1992)!

I have a memory attatched to soooo many songs, but-

Far Behind-Candlebox:In high school me and two friends listened/sang this song ALL the time, and one of those friends was killed in a drunk driving accident, so now it holds even more meaning for us

Margarita-ville-Jimmy Buffet: Every time we went to the Theta Chi house they played/sang this song

Come On Eileen-Our favorite song my first year out of high school to dance to at the clubs!

Strokin(?) I don't know who sings it, or if thats the name, but there was a club in Denton that played that on college night and all my sisters and and our guy friends would dance

so many more, but thats all I can think of

good thread!

One of my favorites is "Living on a Prayer" by Bon Jovi.. always makes me think of my Sig Ep boys - they play this at EVERY party (3 of them are over in Iraq currently, including one of my closest friends..)

"In Da Club" - 50 cent - from my 21st in the clubs

"Yeah" by Usher - mine and my best friend's favorite club song

"The Rose" from our pref ceremony

"Feels Like Home" from our Senior weeks

"Amazed" by Lonestar.. for my fiance and I
