Hey everybody,

I am asking your prayers for my family(My Parents, sister & brother) & the entire nation of the Bahamas & The Turks & Caicos Islands. Hurricane Frances is headed our way and could hit land as a category 4 hurricane. That would be devastating for our islands. Please pray that God keeps them in His arms. Prayers are also asked for Florida & all who are in the path of this massive storm.

Thanks to everyone that prayed for my family during this time. It was certainly difficult, but to see the love and admiration that others had for her was uplifting. The Ceremony was beautiful and her sorority sisters were wonderful the entire time. The Lord was able to bless me enough to speak at the funeral with out totally breaking down. I hope my mommy was proud.

For those of you who are teachers, never get discouraged. While going through some of my mother's things I found a note from a former student saying how much she influenced him when he was a "bad third grader". When he wrote the note he had a 3.4 GPA at FAMU. I know my mother's legacy will continue to live on in her family and in students like that.

I continue to keep you all in my prayers.

Please pray that I do NOT go off on one of these 3 kids!!!! Please pray that I do NOT touch them with my bare hands! Please pray that I KEEP my sanity this school year!
Please pray that the Lord's WILL is the same as MY WILL as far as my career is concerned.

HC this will be the most challenging year of my career?
HC I have to realize that they are "special" and do not know what they are doing....?

Greeting GC Family

I would like to solicit your prayers for me as I will be having back surgery on Wednesday to remove a ruptured disc. I will be in recovery for 6-8 weeks. This is my first surgery of any kind so I'm a little nervous but I know WHO holds my hand. Again thanks for your prayers

I think it was on a John P. Kee song where her said "I know the Doctor who made the Doctor who made the Doctor." The REAL surgeon is on the case. Never forget that.
