furthermore... you have some people who are of the same ethnicity who are guilty of the same practice also...

AMEN TO THAT!

if this had been 6 black people who beat a latino, or 6 arabs who beat a white person, its still equally sick, and an equal setback for society.

They would be called "people who contribute to the racist structure."

Not "racists."

u know whats funny...there is (or was) a case pending now where 4 blacks beat and killed a white couple....never made national news....long story how I head about it...

http://www.volunteertv.com/special/h...s/5483316.html

The ONLY difference is....that was not considered a hate crime....

A headscratcher this is!

Those folks can go to hell because they are contributing to the problem whether they are conscious or not.

My point is that people who are looking for a "story" or an incident will miss out of the fact that racism is more silent, covert and institutionalized than it is overt. So of course these folks will argue that there isn't any racism just because there haven't been any "news worthy" incidents to report about.

Just making sure because one of the more childish excuses for racism is the common "but...but...some minorities do it to" excuse.

let me clear it up for u then...those that do the above example...does not excuse the practice because, as you said...it adds right in....just like the debate that's been going on for years about how people name thier kids determines on what kinds of jobs they can expect to get in life.

I got it the first time around. I type for "the advancement of message board knowledge." Not for the person I'm responding to.

and the part that makes this bad is that they still (as far as I know) don't have any motives behind this....

I am curious what motivated those folks in Logan to hold this woman....I heard a rumor that she was lured there over the internet....go figger....
