Big Sis/Lil Sis Gifts

We only had a night too. We did the string thing, where each nm has a different color string and they have to follow it through the house. We each had little notes that gave us clues, something to do (for example my big had an unofficial big brother and she had me call him and introduce myself), and we would eventually end up in a room to wait our turn to go in to see our "families." Each family had a different room and had secret ways to welcome their new members to the family. Even other families within our chapter don't know what the other families do (none of it is hazing).
We then each get crates with gifts from our bigs. My big gave me a homemade pillow, paddle-making materials, a picture of us in a picture frame she painted, a paddle, my letter (our first initial carved out in wood and it was painted), and a cute picture of two dogs hanging on a clothes line by overalls that they were wearing that said "Sisters hang together". After that, each family went somewhere to eat, such as Steak 'n' Shake.
