A decent floral arrangement or centerpiece could be nice.

Personally, I think you can never have too much wine.

Oh, so true!

Seriously though, I am echoing the flower arrangement suggestion.

Go with wine. Technically, the wine that you bring as a hostess gift is not required to be drunk that night anyways.

Is this the girl you signed up for yoga to meet?

I think bringing flowers is an ok gift if you're a girl, but if I invited a guy to Thanksgiving and he showed up with a floral arrangement/centerpiece whatever, my parents would think that he was totally weird. That's just my opinion though. I'd echo OtterXO's statement and say bring a nice gift basket. They're already going to have a lot of food and drinks, since it's Thanksgiving so give them something they can enjoy on a different day. Good luck!

Homie. I think KSIGRC meant you should eiffel tower them. I'm not sure though. You might have to ask him.

Remember the time we went up to that one girl and asked her if she wanted us to eiffel tower her? Then we were puzzled when she said "ok".

Or how about that one time we went up to that super fat chick and felt sorry for her because no one was giving the fat girl love. So we went up to her and said we'd Golden Gate her anytime. And then she said "ew you guys are gross". And then we were like, " ummm ok listen. we only said that to make your fupa and your fat ass feel better. as if we'd really bang a fat chick." But then we went away and said simultaneously, " yeah, I'd bang a fat chick".

Or how about that time we kept on making up fake memories of events that never really happened, just to make a bunch of internet people think that we were roommates.

Man, good times broski! Good times!

I heart you Bobby. You can be the sigma kappa moderator as long as you promise to get rid of the trash that keeps invading our forum.

The first time I heard of the Eiffel Tower is when my friend slapped his hands in the air and told me the 12 year old girl I was tutoring was asking for it. I can't remember who we used the phrase golden gate bridge on but she was a biggy for sure and we liked hurting her feelings; they always are (big).

Rudey,
You could always bring a nice box of chocolates from Godiva or the like. I don't know that anyone has ever been disappointed with a box of Godiva. I second the wine thing as well.

Happy Thanksgiving.

I ended up buying a few tea assortments and special sugar cubes at Williams Sonoma and they packaged it really nicely. Recommend it as a good hostess gift if you're still stuck.

I'd wear ass chaps before I bought fruity teas and special sugar cubes.

If I can't decide on anything, I'm going to Boston Market and buying a bunch of beans or mashed taters or something, and pretending I made it.

-Rudey
--Hopefully the lady that last posted in the "What I ate for dinner" thread hasn't eaten Boston Market out of house and home when I go in.

I would actually pay money to see that... maybe you can give her an 8x10 glossy in a frame with the assless chaps?

Ask your GF some things that her mom likes. That could help.

This is what I bought as a hostess gift for my bf's mom one year- a gift certificate for a restaurant. It went over very well and it was no more expensive than a flower arrangement or bottle of wine. Just find out what kind or restaurant they enjoy and get them a $30 or so gift card.

Although the asschaps idea would be a conversation starter...
