Thanks for the advise all. I do know a soror from that chapter and I will probably tell her to be on the look out for this chick and then let it go. I have actually down played this girl quite a bit. If I tell you about all the embarassing, unlady-like things this girl has done, you all would not believe me.

When I met her she told me she was engaged and how her fiance (who happens to be a Bruh) was in Florida buying a home and getting ready for her to graduate and move down with him. Now though home-girl was suppose to be engaged she would be out with us trying to holla at other men, which i found odd. Turns out that my LS knows this girl and her "fiance". When my LS met him she said, "Oh you are the one engaged to _______!!" He asked her what she was talking about and she told him that this girl has been saying that they were engaged. Some of his frats said they heard the same thing. He didn't even know who they were talking about until someone described her in full detail. It seems that she conjured up a relationship with this gentleman after meeting him once at a party.

This is one of the many incidents involving this girl. But...sigh, What can be done.

Collecting elephants and pyramids? Conjuring up a fiance? Wow.

If she's that out there with hers, I'm also willing to be that alumnae chapter members will become privy to her behavior.

She should be seeking some professional help instead of Delta.

WOW@elaborating on the situation at hand. I can see you really despise this girl. Everything will happen the way it's intended to happen.

If this chick is this crazy now pray to God she doesn't get into your organization. She'll be looney for sure. I think your Sorors will peep her out though. I don't know why some people sleep on Grad chapters. If you couldn't make it into undergrad why do you think that because you move to another state and try a Grad chapter you will get in? Oh she's sleeping for REAL. It's a small world and she better hope that she doesn't find out just how small it is.

You have a legitimate reason to have a problem with her. Elephants & pyramids? And she acutally 'let' you see them? How disrespectful is that? A made up fiance? Don't be surprised if you find out you have a 'made up Soror.' If she's lying about everything else I wouldn't put it past her.

I busted out this lady I was working with. She had Delta bags, a jacket, decal, etc. Even her own sister said she wasn't a Delta. She was the same way just lie after lie. Why was she talking about her 'steps' back when she was in college. I found out she never attended college. She lied about where she was from, one week Chicago, next week Ohio, then TN.

LMAO!!!!!! That is way too funny.

Now don't get me wrong. I don't despise this girl, I typically don't despise anyone. Besides she's way too pathetic for me to despise her, but I do think that something is seriously wrong "upstairs" and she needs help. All of my sorors here that know her talk about how she takes pleasure in showing them her new elephant or pyramid. She had Bruhs constantly running in and out of her apartment. The issue is that people may not realize that she's this pathological until you spend time with her and compare her stories with each other.

Her behavior is so erratic that I think she may put herself on blast. She wasn't dumb enough to try to perp here because this is a small area and all us sorors know each other. But I wouldn't put it pass her to try to perp in the city that she's in. From what I know there are hundreds of sorors affiliated with that chapter there.

Oops, sorry. I guess that was a harsh word. Thanks for clearing that up.

I have a friend of xyz organization who was in a similar situation, except this particular prospect was trying to join her chapter. Back in undergrad this girl would be seen perping like she was a member of another organization , but she never got in legitimately. So my friend was surprised to see her seeking membership in her organization's graduate chapter. I guess near the end of the selection process my friend decided to speak up and my friend got ousted as a troublemaker. She was also fussed at for waiting so long to speak up. Ever since then my friend's relationship with her chapter has been strained and she has distanced herself from them. Meanwhile there was a halt and investigation on this prospect. She ended up joining that chapter of xyz during the next intake process, if not the one where she she put on spot. I am sure it was more to the story about my friend's relationship with her own chapter than she let on. I guess in the end regardless of all input, the chapter has the final say.

Please elaborate on that. I don't know how to take that. I want to take it as sarcastic, but I see no lol or smiley. Although I do see the ellipsis. Witty one. You could also be optimistic. Hmmm?

Persistence is always good up to a certain point. After awhile, it can turn into crazy and/or not understanding what's really going on. Especially when the signs are right in front of your face. With her collecting items that are significant to the org and then showing them to people in the org and even other greeks says crazy to me. I know a certain chapter of an org used to have to receive a certain amount of a certain item as a gift before they were allowed to purchase any of that item themselves.

Hopefully she will not decide to perp being a Delta. I'm sure if she does, she will be questioned accordingly by a Delta in conversation. When certain things just don't sound right, there is nothing like a challenge. I personally crushed one girl's heart about lying concerning being in XYZ org. I also found the same concerning two male friends of mine. Why lie? To each his own. At least know the basics/history if you are going to lie. Just because you have your house draped in these colors doesn't tell me anything. Now those are persistent liars. Needless to say, we don't talk anymore due to various reasons.

What these types of people don't understand is that nalia does not make you greek. Colors do not make you greek. Stepping and strolling do not make you greek!!!!! What makes you greek is knowing your history, your character and your dedication to service.

Heck, if I knew somebody, who knew somebody in the chapter. And if not that, the chapter would get a letter from me, for real. I don't know how much weight it would hold. But at least I'd know that I did what I could to keep someone of such character out of the fold.
Honestly, I thought this is what everyone did.
