I'm not even going to lie. I don't start watching b-ball until March Madness. The season is just too long. Give me football anyday. That said....
GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!!
Our first trip to the Final Four in 20 years!
ETA: 20 years for the men that is. Our Lady Tigers are still going strong. Go on Pokey and company. Do your thing!

Of course, I couldn't resist anything that even smacks of Diesel.

Well, yes (the BC part) and no (UConn's still in it...for now). It's called March Madness for a reason...all the more reason I love it.
I'm torn over LSU. Yes, it *IS* nice to see the "home team" make it to the Final Four, esp. for the state of Louisiana's sake, post-Katrina (similar to the Yankees in the World Series post-9/11). But, my bottom line is that I don't root for teams that beat my beloved Blue Devils...never have, never will. Period. I *do* give credit where credit is due, however; "Big Baaaaby" Davis *is* a force to be reckoned with. LSU deserves to be there.
For now, I'm just gonna let the chips fall where they may and wait for the FF field to be set before I make any more predictions that will continue to blow my bracket all to hayle.
LET THE MADNESS CONTINUE!!!

George Mason shocked UConn 86-84 in OT Sunday to become the first No. 11 seed to reach the Final Four since 1986.

With Florida's win today, this makes the first time since 1980 that the Final Four consists of NO #1 seeds. Also for the first time in who knows how long, the Final Four does not consists of any teams from the Big Ten or the ACC conferences. I guess this is the year the Big Schools got schooled.
My choice for championship game: LSU v. George Mason
LSU will win, but barely.

Amazing, isn't it?
I see LSU in the title game, too. But, that's all I'll say for now.

I am so happy for George Mason what a run they are having I get so emotional when they play because they play with SO much Heart and you gotta love it when the underdog wins it just feels good!!!
I think if they continue to play with the intensity, skill and HEART they have been playing with they have a very good chance of becoming NCAA champions 2006
Never underestimate the power of HEART, Completly M.A.D.E. so I Know all about that !!!!!!!!!!but back to the subject CONGRADS GMU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just wish DUKE could have done this well!

Me too (*cry, sniffle, sniffle*)!
We'll see what happens next year. J.J. and Shelden will certainly be missed, but I hear "we" have a good recruiting class coming in...should be interesting to see.
My blood will forever flow royal blue, baby!
But, for now, good luck to......
