It basically caught on last semester and by then the 3 nationals on campus at the time no longer had silence anymore (we switched to a sort of COR/MSR format during "formal recruitment") and the 3 locals each do recruitment on their own at the same time as us. But I am sure it would be pretty easy to make it private. For Facebook we closed the group after recruitment and since we did our myspace as a person page and not a group page we could just change the age to 14 to make it private. On campuses where they don't get help from administration or greeks aren't recognized they could be really helpful sites.
